Man Up, Catch the Blast Contest of Man-Power This engagement will be an advertisement on the big screens at several different football stadiums during their big bowl game. On stadium screens there will be a gussing competition. It starts with very brief clips showing three manly contestants: body builder, knight, cowboy, mountain man, etc. Then the clip shows a man in a Dr Pepper TEN football uniform. He walks out dramatically onto the football field with the three manly men behind him. The clip switches to in the middle of a football game and Dr Pepper TEN is about to throw the ball; the clip shows shots of all three men as recievers looking to catch it. The clip ends and a phone number and instructions to text one of three options (names of the three men) to the number of whoever the person thinks will catch the ball. Later during the game the clip comes back on and it shows all three men jumping for the ball, they dog pile, and one of the three men dramatically emerges from the pile holding the ball. A new shot shows the winner drinking a refreshing Dr Pepper TEN. An announcer comes in briefly to say that Dr Pepper TEN has the full, bold taste of the 23 flavors of Dr Pepper, and that it’s a drink made for men. Then it says the tag line, “Man Up, and Catch the Blast”.

If the manly man who caught the ball is the one someone texted, they then recieve another text telling them to show the message at the concession stand for a free, large Dr Pepper TEN. There is also a web link the person can click on to enter their information into a sweepstakes. The person who wins gets two tickets to either the Dr Pepper Arena to watch a basketball game, or to the Dr Pepper Ballpark to watch a baseball game-both located in Frisco, TX.

A sport for the strong

More engagement during the game will be a man in a Dr Pepper TEN costume who goes into the stands a few times and throws football shaped sodas with The Dr Pepper TEN logo on them. This ties back to catching the football ad on the screen and gives more people a chance to try the drink.
