MODERN ROBIN HOOD Robin Hood Foundation is a New York City non-profit that invests in only the “most effective poverty fighting programs.”
This campaign centers around how Robin Hood would fight poverty in modern-day times. Obviously, he would use the approach the Robin Hood Foundation does: empowering people with resources they need to pull themselves out of poverty and working with the wealthy to provide those resources (rather than stealing from a corrupt upper class as he did in medieval times). With this campaign, I hope to engage passionate professionals, young and old, who have influence and the resources to donate towards the cause.
The viral video will depict Robin Hood in modern-day NYC sneaking into a wealthy CEO’s office. But rather than stealing from him, he politely asks for donations for poverty-fighting programs.

The final avenue is a social media campaign on Instagram which ties into the Robin Hood sightings idea. People who see one of the Robin Hoods around NYC can share the pic online, which will create buzz around the city.

Actors in Robin Hood costumes will be hired to raise awareness and ask for donations around NYC: subways, Central Park, Times Square and other locations frequented by homeless people and street musicians.
An event will be held in Central Park: people can shoot a quiver-full of arrows with a donation toward Robin Hood Foundation. An incharacter, costumed Robin Hood will give an inspiring speech about the fight against poverty.
