is a condition that causes the muscle in the heart wall to slowly weaken and enlarge, preventing the heart from pumping enough blood.

• Heart Attack eg.MI • Bacterial Endocarditis

Heavy Alcohol Or Drug Abuse

Heavy Smoking High Blood Pressure

Digitalis Toxicity

MANAGEMENT :

Consult The Physician About The Cardiac Condition. Functional Capacity, Echo, Ecg Functional Capacity Refers To The Capability Of Performing Tasks And Activities That People Find Necessary Or Desirable In Their Lives.

Stress Reduction Protocol Anticoagulant :

• INR: Measure On The Day Of The Procedure Less Than 3.5 . • Be Prepared With Hemostasis Local Factors (Gelfoam, Surgicel, Bovine Thrombin, Avitene ).

Antibiotic And Prophylaxis:

• Prosthetic Heart Valve , Give Amoxicillin 2g One Hour Before The Procedure .

• Give Good Pain Control

Anesthesia:

• Epinephrine 1:100,000 Limit To 2 Carpules (40ug) • Avoid Gingival Cords With Epi • Avoid GA (Must Consult With Anesthesiologist)

• Blood Pressure Should Be Controlled. Do Not Treat The Patient If BP is > 180 /110 .

Stop The Procedure &call For Help Seat The Patient Comfort Check Vital Signs Check ABC

• Administrate 0.5mg Of Sublingual Nitroglycerine 3 Doses 5 Minute Apart . • Give Oxygen At Flow Rate Of 5 6L/MIN • If Chest Pain Is Not Relived, Suspect MI Give 325 Mg Of Aspirin Activate EMS
