How can you make fabric shoes? Step 1: make insoles Draw shoe pattern according to your other shoes on the paper and cut them off. Then use patterns to cut two cotton fabrics of vamp, two cotton fabrics of shoe lining, two waterproof and anti-skidding fabrics of soles which all need add seam allowance. Cut two cotton fabrics of sole lining which add double seam allowance and four adhesive cotton linings separately for two vamps and two soles which don’t need seam allowance. Iron cotton linings on the fabrics of shoe linings and sole linings. Seam thick insoles and spongy fabric together; wrap the insoles with fabrics of sole linings and sew them.
Step 2: sew vamps Embellish the vamps with what you like. Sew fabrics of vamp with fabrics of shoe lining as the picture shows. Cut tooth shape at the front of the opening to make them neat when you turn them over. Pay attention not to shear the seam line.
Step 3: finish the shoes Turn one shoe over and sew an apparent line to make it neat. Sew it with the waterproof and anti-skidding fabric. Sew the vamp with the sole. Do the same to finish the other shoe.
