Strategies for improving prosthodontic clinical procedures BRIEF Often, the prognosis of heavily restored teeth and especially endodontically treated posterior teeth will be improved with an indirect cuspal coverage restoration. Modern dental materials, improved laboratory procedures and an emphasis on conservation of tooth structure require us all to reconsider how the concepts we were taught in dental school have evolved for contemporary practice. This hands-on workshop will update participants on the changes in philosophy for indirect restorations and provide an opportunity to practice some of these techniques in a supportive learning environment. Participants will receive an update on materials and techniques to improve onlays, crowns and bonded bridges, and practice these techniques in a hands-on workshop setting. This course is designed for dentists wanting to improve their tooth preparations and clinical workflow for fixed prosthodontic procedures.
