Dr Aniko Ball As a dentist practising for over thirty years, Aniko suffered from neck, shoulder and lower back pain for most of that time. Six years ago she contemplated forced retirement as her problems worsened and she could hardly move some days. Doctors and physical therapists considered her a hopeless case; none of them identified her condition as work related injury. Fortunately she came across the Alexander Technique, learned to release harmful posture and movement habits and got well. Aniko is passionate about the transformative impact of the Alexander Technique in preventing work related injuries in the dental profession and helping those who are suffering as she once did. Out of a desire to make a difference, she has undertaken a 1600-hour part time course at the Melbourne Alexander School.
