Contemporary Infection Control State of the Art 2017 For the whole dental team
BRIEF This one day course will provide an update to dental clinicians and their supporting staff on recent
developments in infection control in dentistry. This course provides an overview of key areas in infection control in which there have been significant changes in recent years. The impact of the changing national guidelines will be a particular theme running through the program. The course is suitable for all members of the dental team.

efficiency‐based measures to improve workflow in instrument
management of endodontic instruments and burs
reprocessing and patient changeover
PRESENTER Professor Laurie Walsh (QLD) BDSc, PhD, DDSc, GCEd, FRACDS, FFOP(RCPA), FIADFE Professor Laurie Walsh is the former chair and a longstanding member of the ADA Infection Control Committee, and the editor of the ADA Infection Control Guidelines. He has contributed to a range of other guidelines, standards, protocols, and checklists in infection control. Laurie serves on panels for the CDNA, ASQHC and Standards Australia. He has also served on dental board and been an inspector. Laurie has lectured internationally and published extensively in the areas of clinical microbiology and infection control.
