Reaching the new standards of modern endodontics BRIEF This two-day course is designed to give the skilled general practitioner the knowledge, materials and techniques to complete endodontic treatment to the highest possible standard. This comprehensive course will consist of a full day theoretical program and a full day hands-on program.

2-DAY COURSE
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
• Diagnose complex pain situations to treat (or not treat!) the right tooth • Recognise the limitations and advantages of minimally invasive endodontics and implement conservative endodontics in your practice. • The practical session will consist of all phases of endodontic treatment: • Utilise radiography and CBCT to assist endodontic access • Implement predictable and efficient instrumentation techniques with the latest niti instruments to reduce iatrogenic errors • Learn how to manage calcified canals, ledges and acutely curved canals • Understand and utilise technology (including CBCT and ultrasonics) available to identify and treat MB2 • Gain experience in various warm obturation techniques • Apply techniques of conservative restoration of root-filled teeth.
SPEAKER Dr Oliver Pope graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. After serving as a Dental Officer in the Royal Australian Navy and several years of general dental practice, he completed a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne. His research into the clinical applications of Cone-Beam Computed Tomography has been published in the international Journal of Endodontics. Oliver is passionate about teaching and educates students at the Universities of Melbourne and La Trobe, overseas-trained and local dentists. Oliver is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Endodontics and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists.
