PRESENTERS Dr Gordon Burt is a former president of the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch. He remains on Council and is a member of the Continuing Professional Development Committee. He served on the 35 th ADA Congress Local Organising Committee as Chairman of the Scientific Programme. He is a graduate of The London Hospital Medical College and has a master’s degree from the Institute of Dental Surgery, University of London in Prosthetic Dentistry, He completed his MS in Prosthodontics, at the University of Minnesota. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and an Affiliate Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Gordon was a visiting consultant prosthodontist at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, for 12 years. He has lectured locally and overseas, including at the ADA, Australian Osseointegration Society, Australian Prosthodontic Society and the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists. He is involved in the University of Melbourne School of Dental Science continuing education program and is demonstrator for their postgraduate prosthodontics program. Dr Chee Chang trained at the University of Otago (NZ) and graduated in 1999. He then joined Wellington Hospital in the capital city of Wellington, New Zealand, and worked as a dental house surgeon where he further developed his skills in oral surgery and management of complex medically compromised patients. Following this, he relocated to Auckland, New Zealand and commenced work in private practice. He has a number of interests in dentistry and prosthodontics, particularly in dental implants and the application of modern dental biomaterials in the aesthetic rehabilitation of patients.
