Pharmacological hot-spots What’s new in drug management of dental issues BRIEF Dental professionals need to be confident in managing risks and benefits of medicines used prior to dental consultation, during the consultation and prescribed afterwards. But keeping up-to-date is challenging. Not only is drug information constantly changing, but a new edition of the Therapeutic Guidelines – Oral and Dental is due out in 2017 in which we expect significant updates in their recommendations and advice. In this lecture, Dr Geraldine Moses will provide an update on medication use as it relates to current dental practice.

Managing the risk of osteonecrosis of the jaw
Pain management
