Common Occlusal Problems and Management of Tooth Wear in General Practice A course tackling common occlusal problems and treatment options - demonstrating simple, practical techniques for recording, analysing and dealing with occlusal issues. This new course discusses the management of the most common occlusal problems encountered in general dental practice and the main types of tooth wear. Recent studies and review papers have questioned traditionally held theories about the role of occlusion in restorative dentistry, and whether it has any real relevance. Some patients adapt to occlusal changes occurring naturally over time while other patients do not and this can lead to pain, tooth mobility, fractured teeth and excessive tooth wear.
