Letter from your President Hi Key Clubbers! Can you believe the year is almost over?! As a senior I am really excited to graduate, but as a Key Clubber, I am sad to have to leave the club. However, I am really happy to see other Delta students prepare to lead the club next year, at our brand new school! We are fortunate enough to have some amazing leaders in our club that I know have the capability to succeed. I want to encourage everyone to run, especially those attending D-Con as they will have gone through leadership and Key Club training. I hope you will all continue to join our club this spring as we continue serving the community and volunteering at different organizations! Sincerely, Adriana Mendez

YUDA Bands

“To give youth the opportunity to make a difference in the world by providing a unique service learning project that creates jobs, promotes education, and increases awareness of global needs.” – Yuda Bands Founders

Zuhaib Mohamed, Delta’s project manager for the YUDA band project, led and encouraged the Delta students and teachers to help fundraise money to help put a young girl in Guatemala, named Evelyn, through school! YUDA bands are handmaid in Guatemala, providing jobs for Guatemalans. Around 494 schools around the world have participated, with 602300 of the American youth being actively involved in selling and spreading the word about YUDA bands. Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Filling hearts, not just stomachs

Delta high school key clubbers took shifts collecting money for the Salvation Army, by spreading joy to the many different customers walking by. Key Clubbers rang bells, sang songs, and even danced a little! The joy that your fellow club members spread was tremendous. The bell ringing begins each November and runs through Christmas Eve, in order to collect money for people in need. We are looking forward to participating in this again next year. Way to go everyone!

Valentine Grams

This year’s Valentine Grams were again a huge success. We sold over 100 valentine grams! Key clubbers gathered together and helped put the valentine grams together, while also selling them at both lunches. The money that we fundraised for our club can now be used for future events, dues, T-shirts, party supplies, and more. Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day to help support this fundraiser. You are highly appreciated.
