Court Diversion Volunteers Addison County Court Diversion and Community Justice Projects is seeking volunteers to serve on their Reparative Board. The volunteer board meets once per month with low-level offenders to develop contract requirements that focus on repairing the harm that they caused and helping them to avoid reoffending. Volunteers should preferably be between the ages of 25-55 years and must be personable, thoughtful and understanding. Most importantly, they must operate from a non-punative mindset. Please call 388-7044 for more information.

Mimi Love-Nicholson joined the

Junebug team last summer and has been a committed volunteer ever since. Mimi is an artist, grandmother, and long-time resident of Middlebury who adds an in- credible depth to our team of volunteers. It is a joy to have her in the store because she has so many personal connections to our customers, and she has a passion for swapping baby stories. Twice a week, Mimi patiently and methodically tags the overwhelming heaps of clothing that we place in front of her. We wonder how we ever did it before Mimi stepped through our doors. Thank you, Mimi!

We meet on an irregularly regular ba- sis (if there is a need, we meet!) at the Mary Johnson Child Care Center on Wa- ter St. in Middlebury. Good home-made treats are al- ways available and all meet- ings are free. Our theme song has been Bill Wither’s “Lean on Me, when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on..for it won’t be long, ‘til I’m gonna need, somebody to lean on.” Come be a leaner, be a sup- porter, be part of something that gives strength by shar- ing love. Call 802-388-6107 with questions.
