I  started  at  a  deep  hole  I  used  WR ÂżVK UHJXODUO\ in  the  1990s  when  I  lived  a  few  miles  further  upstream  than  I  do  now.  But  my  intention  was  to  work  my  way  downstream  to  one  of  the  few  areas  on  the  New  Haven  5LYHU , KDG QRW ÂżVKHG PRUH WKDQ once  in  20  years  â€”  a  spot  upriver  of  the  village  of  Bristol  but  not  yet  into  the  mountains.
