Kirkbrae Country Club Club House 1961

When Samuel Clark’s ancestors traded with the Indians back in 1790 for the land that is now occupied by Kirkbrae Country Club, they chose wisely. Not only is the land they selected convenient to the communities of Providence, Pawtucket, Woonsocket and Attleboro, but this land of natural beauty always provides for a picturesque views, in every season of the year.

Church Family Farm 1950

The dairy farm that was established here continued in operation for 170 years. Gilbert L. Church, Jr., Samuel Clark’s grandson, discontinued the farm after seeing its operation through its last 50 years. In 1961, Mr. Church began development of the club and branding in his namesake as Kirkbrae, Scottish for “Church on the hill”. Today, over 50 years after its founding, Kirkbrae Country Club has achieved the status of one of the finest clubs in our region. We continue to make history by providing not only a first-class private club but also a premier special events venue.

Kirkbrae is proud to have longstanding traditions and has emerged as one

of the regionâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s best private clubs. Our family-oriented membership enjoys countless amenities and benefits as part of their Kirkbrae experience. Our 18-hole Championship golf course is always in meticulous condition. The golf course provides a challenging and fun golfing experience for players of all skill levels and ages. Kirkbrae strives to maintain an environment that satisfies the true love of the game. At Kirkbrae, however it is not all about golf. Our friendly membership and welcoming dining facilities afford our members a wonderful venue to meet and mingle in our dining rooms, bar and card rooms. The social calendar at our club is filled with an astounding number of great social and dining events. The club celebrates most major holidays and has events designed for members of all ages. The club offers casual dining throughout the year and our Charcoal Room is open for fine dining throughout the winter months. In addition to dining and golf, Kirkbrae boasts a full list of amenities. Our state of the art fitness center is located adjacent to the locker rooms. The pool and tennis club are great places for our members to spend the summer. Our pool and tennis programs provide swimming and tennis lessons, a swim team and countless activities throughout the year.

INSIDE KIRKBRAE Our sprawling event facility offers elegantly decorated ballrooms and flexible event space. A tasteful, neutral décor provides a backdrop which can be transformed to compliment all of your desired event designs. More intimate space can be accommodated when dividing the ballrooms. The Kirkbrae event facility provides for the perfect setting for your event, your design and your guests on your special day.

Grand Ballroom Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate upwards of 400 guests. The elegant décor and panoramic views of the golf course from our balconies make for the perfect setting for your wedding. Our large dance floor will set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Northeast Ballroom

For a more intimate reception the Northeast Ballroom can accommodate up to 130 people for a wedding reception. The outside terrace is used for cocktail hour space then your guests will make their way inside for the reception.

The Charcoal Room

The Charcoal Room is located through the member's entrance side of the building. It provides the comfort, feel and charm of a private club. The Charcoal Room is ideal for showers, rehearsal dinners and post wedding brunches accommodating up to 50 guests.

The Terrace

We have two terraces’ that overlook the sprawling landscape. They are ideal for onsite ceremonies and cocktail hour spaces.

The Bridal Garden Once you arrive at Kirkbrae Country Club, you will immediately notice the meticulous grounds and landscape surrounding the club. Our Bridal Garden is blooming with seasonal flowers and tasteful plantings. Beautiful pine trees drape the background of the waterfall and frames the area reserved for you to capture your wedding memories.

Special Events Kirkbrae hosts many different events throughout the year. Exceptional service and impeccable cuisine ensure that your special occasion is a resounding success. Fundraisers, birthdays, anniversaries, bar/ bat-mitzvahs, school functions, retirement parties, holiday events and any other reasons to celebrate may be hosted at Kirkbrae.

Golf Tournaments Our 18-hole Geoffrey Cornish designed golf course is one of the most popular courses in New England. The beautiful landscape and impeccable course conditions make Kirkbrae a wonderful place to host your golf tournament. Our event professionals will work with you to coordinate all food and beverage accommodations and our PGA Professionals will help you to design the ideal playing format to fit your players.
