HISTORY
Origin The area where Anglia Square stands today was part of the Saxon settlement of Northwic. Magdalen Street and St Augustine’s, which are two of the oldest streets in Norwich, date back to those times. 19th Century A Crape Manufactory – a factory which produced a fabric often worn when mourning, was built where Anglia Square now stands. 1942 During Baedeker Raids, in April 1942, the area was badly bombed. Norwich Plan (1945) Roundabout at major intersections of Pitt St. and St. Crispins Rd. constructed between 1965 - 1975. 1966-1968 Stationary office Sovereign House was built for her majesty. 1970 Anglia Square was officially opened this year. 1971 Cinema was opened 1990 Stationary office Sovereign House was redundant on 1990. 2018 Anglia Square is in need of regeneration plan.

LACK OF EVENT SPACES
WORKING PARENTS
P30201 Architecture Regeneration
Weddings, graduation ceremony, important events or even community events always had limited place to rent for their event.
Globally, the main issues for working parents are increasing especially in United Kingdom and Norwich itself. Eventually the parents need help from helpful outsiders and hub for them to spend time with varieties of activities together. Even, in Anglia Square one witnessed plenty of elderly being with their grandchild and take care of them instead of their parents

Series of Columns
There are series of concrete columns arranged in parking garage which I think gives a good values to the building. It was used as a divider to seperate parking spaces, structural value to the building and the main core to the building. In addition, with the concrete material it express on raw and gray-ish feeling, furnish and colour to the interior.
EXISTING WAFFLE SLAB
The ceiling in Anglia square is very prominent with waffle slab concrete and it also been portrayed in the parking garage as well. It occurs in every floor which makes it very interesting make good use of it in my design process.
