Welcome to My City / COCI– 2nd transnational meeting in Hyvinkää 5 Oct, 2017 Matters on the agenda:
1. Project meeting in Turkey 11 – 17 February, 2018 -
we discussed whether to bring students to Turkey or not. Adil assured us that everything was normal in Turkey: o o o o o o o

Germany: the headmaster of the school does not want teachers / students to go to Turkey Adil was suggesting that transnational meeting be held in Portugal, not Turkey Slovenia: according the foreign affairs ministry; it is ok to travel to certain areas in Turkey; they would bring teachers and student (1 student only) Iceland: only 1 student but still uncertain Finland: the opinion of Ministry of Foreign Affairs is that security situation is still unsure, you have to be very cautious at least in certain areas in Turkey Adil: instructions to fly: first to Istanbul (Hki-Istanbul) and from Istanbul – Trabzon – from there by Adil’s car (Trabzon – Rize). Tanja’s suggestion: budget - Portugal is paid as a transnational meeting (=less money than LTT) – Turkey would be a transnational project meeting (if no students to Turkey) but then we take 4 students to Portugal instead? suggestions: 8. – 14.4. Portugal, LTT with students Turkey TPM, only teachers, (only three days meeting?); Bertha mentioned that all the options would be: 1) just teachers to Turkey 2) max 1-2 student 3) change the date for the last meeting (final summit) 4) find another place altogether
finally we decided on leaving just two options open: o 1) original option o 2) to move the meeting to May, and have the last meeting in Turkey (shorter meeting on 7. – 11.May) the deadline to report our decision to Bertha is on 13 Oct

3. Tasks for the Turkey meeting

voluntary work for students / Bertha’s suggestion SF: to contact Mosaiikki-project, not give donations but give time, participate in clubs etc… collecting funds, clothing… tasks for Turkey: human geography – where are refugees coming; where are they heading? Are they stopping in their country? no more posters – students will creat market place; like fair stands (human geography)students should have a set of questions
4. Discussion about a new Erasmus+ project Finnish participants say it is unlikely that they will be part of a new project application but others are are interested. Topic suggestions: - Angelika: topics; entrepreneurial mindset OR how does learning change in a digital world - Adil: learning in a digital era
