The OMI Arts Artist Residency is a mixed program proposal with the goal of synthesis between the artist’s process and their public outreach. From the beginning of the project I focused on the relationship between exhibition and work, and the overlap between the two. Artists of different disciplines who are invated to work at the OMI ARTS program will be able to manage their exhibition and workspaces freely, thus as a design direction I chose to blur the boundaries between an imaginary public Showroom space - which i would like to call the canyon -, and a concise, grounded workspace: the mountain.
