AXONOMETRY
SHELTER
Cottages (Arch. design 1) 1st year, I semester
The topic of the shelter was re-examined through several questions - How do we perceive free time and rest time from everyday life? How can architecture encourage the creative use of free time? Can architecture be perceived as therapy? The result is a design with the idea of a spatial incubator through which introverted and extroverted space intertwine as two states of being. The closed untreated concrete membrane represents a shield from the surroundings, reminiscent of a cave, while the hanging glass cube opens up views towards the surroundings, enabling a detailed observation of the nature, micro and macro world in the surroundings. The shape of the building was created by manipulating the basic geometry of a square, which was conceived as a monolithic concrete structure. Four essential materials characteristic of modern architecture were used - corten steel as a bridge and canopy, concrete as a spatial membrane and structure, a wooden core as a ceiling and glass as a ‘floating space’.

HOUSE 3X3
Workshop: Responsive House(Odgovorna kuća), Prefabricated houses for floodplains
The idea of the 3x3 house is based on a rational modular system as a response to the problem of floods inspired by the principles of soybeans. The house is designed as a flexible housing unit adaptable in terms of square footage and organization of living space through time. It is characterized by the silhouette of a gabled roof as one of the basic archetypes of the house. The main task is to enable the construction of a costeffective house for different profiles of users whose housing is damaged or destroyed by the floods with the possibilities of extension over time. 3x3 should offer user integrity by creating a unique and unpredictable character of the house by applying different (re)construction techniques. 3x3 is a fusion of traditional principles, efficient construction and low-cost architecture.

ARCHIVE
Buildings for work and trade (Arch. design 6), Reuse of skladiĹĄta cellulose storage into archive 2nd year, II semester
Old context - The current function of the archives of the city of Banja Luka takes place inside a building built in the 19th century. The building of great historical value, corresponded to the function of the military command and currently does not meet the conditions for storage and processing of archival material. New context - The process of deindustrialization of the city has led to the conversion of industrial zones into new service zones. The 'Incel' industrial complex is located east of the city center on an area of about 97.6 ha, and the new archive is designed inside a former cellulose fiber kiln that has an elongated shape, a 7.5 m grid and an arched brick roof under which there used to be a horizontal crane. Archives, which usually have the task of storing large quantities of archival material, often become monotonous megastruc t ures without a direct experience of th e importance of that function. Within a society a c customed to the rapid consumption of information, the new archive is conceived as a center of events, a meeting place as a store of knowledge permeated through different spatial sequences. Most of the archive is buried in front of the hall, while one part is protected inside the concrete core as an exhibition. The rounded vault of the hall becomes a spatial quality that can be seen by using a diverse program that stimulates activities. One part of the archive capacity i s conceived as a server space that should serve as a virtual space for future entrepreneurial units. The ground floor of the archive should enable mult i functional use of the hall space, while the admi n istrative rooms are soundproofed from the possibl e noise of the frequency archive.

BUTIQUE HOTEL
Buildings (Arch. design 7) 2nd year, IV semester
The idea of the new boutique hotel, in the very center of the city, came from connecting the values of the neighboring park and the desire to achieve a representative hotel facility. The result is a design that is formulated through a combination of repetitive architectural elements and more subtle elliptical elements that open up different views of the environment. The building functions on the ground floor as a rectangular atrium sapce disposition with a roof park and a single tract oriented towards the city center. Kitchen for culinary scenography, hall, standard rooms, business apartments, penthouse are arranged through six floors. The secondary faรงade completes the representativeness of the building, which allows for a more intimate use of the balcony, framing the views towards the city center.
