About the Speaker Elizabeth Campbell is a Staff Attorney at the Human Trafficking Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School. At the Clinic, Elizabeth provides direct legal services to trafficking victims, supervises clinical students, and works
with local law enforcement and
social services agencies to better respond to the needs
The exploitation of vulnerable populations in sex and labor trades continues to plague communities throughout the U.S., including Michigan communities. Ms. Campbell will discuss the experiences of survivors of sex trafficking, as well as victims of labor trafficking that are subjected to sexual assault, how to identify survivors, and legal advocacy tools for survivors of human trafficking.

She worked for three years at a local domestic violence and sexual assault center providing direct services to survivors. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2011 and is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
