Internship Notes

Internship Notes Goal/Objectives for PD: This is the first document we started with. I was tasked with adding terminal objectives to the first two program objectives and any notes. At our next meeting, this table was abandoned for the course outlines. There are two versions, the second one is where the bulk of our work lies. Course Outline V2: This is the document we ended up using for most of our planning. It proved very fruitful. It is notable that there were approximately 120 enabling objectives. This task took an inordinate amount of time, as each one required research material. There is a column to place research links, which is where most of my research was placed. I also uploaded additional documents to our SLACK space containing research items. LAAT Document: This document is a learner assessment table. The three of us were tasked with entering our information for the two professional development microlearning pieces we each completed. I worked on “Active Learning Strategies: Elaboration” and “Interactive Social Learning. You will find the enabling objectives, along with the mode and assessment type and questions. Active Learning Strategies: Elaboration - Professional Development: This is the first microlearning piece I developed. Much of the text and some of the graphics was taken from an existing web conference provided by the client. They wanted some smaller job aids or microlearning pieces they could offer to medical educators to assist them with their pedagogical responsibilities in teaching undergraduate medical students. I used the color scheme inherent to the client.

Interactive Social Learning - Professional Development: This is the second microlearning piece I developed. All text is original, except where citations were used. Some of the graphics were new and some were taken from the first microlearning piece, but none of them came from the client. I added a reference section at the end.
