Browsing e twinning book 2016

• eTwinning provides a powerful learning experience, offering students the opportunity to participate in collaborative learning projects. • Children and young people have particular needs and deserve protection and safeguarding. They should be encouraged to respect and safeguard the right of others. This is a huge responsibility we all share.

Be safe and responsible in the virtual world

Your responsibility is the security for the others

Others responsibility is your security

• Criteria A.

• e Safety one of 6 criteria for e Twinning School Label

• The school must demonstrate activi ties that prove teachers’ /pupils’ awareness of responsible use of the internet

eTwinning code of conduct

• It is a good way to present the code of conduct in e Twinning in our projects , in the first steps of it , and also the founders can add other rules regarding to the idea of project including student's ideas too. • https://bit.ly/2RxT5kz

Q.1: Is consent of

parents recommended if the pupils work exclusively in the closed area of the TwinSpace?

• It is always good to inform parents about the work in eTwinning as in that way we let them know what we are doing with the students. In case there are parents who feel reluctant to allow us to work online in the TwinSpace, we can create a visitors account so parents can see some of the activities we organize with their children. It is also important to agree with our eTwinning partner(s) that all photos will stay only in the TwinSpace and he/she won’t use them without your permission e.g. for presentations, for the school website etc.

Q. 2 : Does eTwinning offer sample forms for parents to give permission for the filming and taking of photographs relating to eTwinning project work?

• No, e twinning does not offer such a form . Given that every country • Follows specific rules , it corresponds with National policies . • Consult your National Support Service for further information .

• Participating in every year activity organized on February " Safer Internet Day "

Another way to promote e safety to our student

• Safer Internet Day (SID) is organized as part of the European Commission’s Better Internet for Kids12 strategy in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people across the world.

This year's Safer Internet Day (SID) celebrations took place on Tuesday, 5 February 2019. The campaign's slogan, "Together for a better internet", was a call to action for all stakeholders to join together and play their part in creating a better internet for everyone, and especially for younger users.

5 February has finished , but not the campaign

The campaign is continuing

Safer Internet Day 2020 • And finally, as one SID comes to a close, so we start planning for the next! Already save the date for Safer Internet Day 2020, taking place on Tuesday, 11 February 2020, when once again - we'll join forces across the globe to work "Together for a better internet".
