This innovative programme is grounded in the latest research into effective professional development (PD). It will challenge your thinking about the leadership of professional learning within your school and across schools. It will help you to evaluate the impact of PD on teacher effectiveness and student outcomes, and it will suggest ways in which you can adapt your practice. The programme will explore 4 key questions: • • • •

Session 1 PD Leadership – Whose role is it?

• Who leads PD in your organisation? • How is PD leadership distributed? • What is your role in developing the leadership of PD across your organisation?

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced PD leaders, those new to the role, or those aspiring to PD leadership. Schools, local authorities, school networks. This programme can also be run on your site at a time convenient to you.

Session 2 Effective PD – What works?
