ALL Plaza apartments in buildings C and E (#33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, and 64)
Large-scale projects at The Plaza will impact your apartment this summer. Please read the information below prior to the start of the Lease Renewal Program on January 22.
1. What is happening at the plaza, and why?
Due to age of this beautiful facility, the entire 3rd floor walking deck and 2nd floor walkway ceiling must undergo extensive repairs. We will also take the opportunity to enhance our inventory and amenities in these units by adding furnishings and increasing capacities.
Our goal with large-scale renovation and maintenance projects such as these is to keep these popular communities viable for the foreseeable future.
2. How does this affect me?
This summer’s projects will, regrettably, directly impact your apartment.Due to the extensive nature of the repairs, you will NOT be able to remain in your current space for the coming summer (July 1 through September 18). But you will have a number of alternatives during the
Lease Renewal Program, as outlined in this brochure. All options do require you to completely vacate yourself and your belongings from your current apartment on your June 30 contract expiration date.
3. If I still have questions after reading this brochure, who can I contact?
We highly suggest that you visit us inperson at the Housing Administration Building during business hours, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm. You may also contact us at housinginfo@ucr.edu or (951) 827-6350. However, these last two methods are typically highly impacted and response time will be slower.
OK, I HAVE TO MOVE. WHAT ARE MY CAMPUS HOUSING OPTIONS?
You will see several options available to you when you log into the MyHousing portal on January 22. A summary of your choices are included in a table in this brochure. NOTE: ALL three options require you to completely vacate your current apartment no later than June 30, 2025.
OPTION 1: SAME SPACE FALL
After moving out in June, you will have the ability to return to your current space on Campus Apartment Move-In Day, September 19, 2025. NOTE: Before choosing to renew for your exact same space, determine whether your room capacity will be changed for the new academic year and whether that will still work for you.

OPTION 2: NEW SPACE FALL
You can request the opportunity to select a new space at Bannockburn Village, The Plaza, Glen Mor or Falkirk and move into your new space on Campus Apartment
Move-In Day, September 19, 2025. NOTE: Once you sign a contract for your newlyselected space, your current space will become unavailable to you for Fall with this option.

If you are interested in relocating to the North District Apartments for next year, you will need to “Decline All UCR Housing” during the Lease Renewal Program, and submit an application for the North District Apartments at mycommunity. americancampus.com. Unfortunately, we cannot prioritize or guarantee an assignment for you at North District Apartments.
