A qualified Director will demonstrate the ability to support and further a patient-centered care culture and provide caring and decisive leadership. Operating Room Nurse certification preferred. Experience in staffing and managing surgical and perioperative services. A minimum of five years practicing as a professional in an acute care hospital is required and at least three years must be in a progressively responsible position in healthcare management and leadership. Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, accreditation standards and AORN standards and recommended practices.
