ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER Gardner Denver, a $2.4 Billion international corporation with over one hundred locations throughout the world has exciting opportunities for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer at our Industrial Products Group location in Sedalia, Missouri.

This position will primarily contribute to the engineering design, development and testing of new Rotary Compressor products, as well as current products. Additional requirements include providing a broad range of on-site engineering technical support for manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer service support activities.

Qualifications for this position include: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering Extensive experience in power supply design, control box and power distribution design, as well as control system and controller design.

This is not an entry level position. We require five to ten years experience in the discipline described above, preferably dealing with the development of rotary compressors or similar mechanical equipment. The ability to lead designs at the component and assembly levels to obtain targeted performance and cost targets.

AutoDesk Inventor and SAP experience preferred.

Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills. Will be required to present project plans and updates to top management. Must be capable to work in a fast paced, results oriented atmosphere.

This position will be expected to perform and lead design functions within the engineering team, and also interact with our R&D laboratory on product development projects. Also expected to work in and/or lead cross functional project teams across various physical locations and product portfolios/brands.
