All you have to do is submit in writing to The Marshall Democrat-News office the Christmas events your church is hosting, with the date and time.
Rules: All floats must have sponsor’s name on them. No candy may be thrown from floats. You may walk and hand out candy to the crowd. No Santa allowed on any float. ATV’s are not allowed. Santa will be visiting with children in the Courthouse Rotunda immediately following the parade. Enter through the North door of the Courthouse. They will also be writing letters to Santa and making an ornament to place on the tree. Pictures are sponsored by your Marshall Wal-Mart and will be available for pick up at the Chamber Office located on 214 N Lafayette on Tuesday, December 10th between 9a-4p.
PARADE ROUTE & LINE UP: Line up is between 5:00 & 5:30 p.m. Judging will take place between 5:30 & 6:00 p.m. The parade will start at 6:00 p.m. Each entry will be provided a number so it is imperative that you sign up at the Chamber office by December 2nd. Any late entries will be placed in the back of the parade. Line up will begin at the ConAgra parking lot. Route will begin at the corner of English/Banquet Rd and Arrow, proceed East on Arrow, North on Jefferson St., West on North St., South on Lafayette, West on Court St. and disband at the ConAgra parking lot. Once we have received your application we will send you information on the designated areas for pick ups and drop offs. Please fill out the form below and send to the Chamber office or give us a call. Each entry will have a number.
