WORLD MUSEUM OF ART World and Human: reflection of each other
DEVELOPING CONTENT 2015
The base of the site is in chronologic order of the events
Some header The base of the site is in chronologic order of the events. Chronological sequence of presentation gives us an ability to have a clear structure, provoke reader’s interest in the following events, and connect the relationships between the events of the past and present. Three levels of difficulty of the content give us the ability to gradually increase the depth in desired subject. That would also differentiate the perception of the same events: a reader will have a chance to evaluate the event from the perspective of its historical place, historical value, and historical result. Content will be accessible depending on the access rights of three different levels of detail available to the user – presented in text, multi-media and electronic-commercial forms. Content will be developed by WMA copywriter as well as it will be a product of mutually beneficial cooperation with other museums and educational institutions. One of the results of that cooperation will be materials granted to WMA in exchange of direct and indirect advertisement, and apps, developed by WMA, to attract additional stream of visitors to the museums.

Some header For example we will offer to the museum banner advertisement on our second page. Banners on that page can be static (without animation) and animated (developed on the HTML5 and GIF technologies). User will be able to move to the different sections on WMA site or move to the sections of partner’s sites by clicking on banner. Our second page will also have a strait way to the materials published by our partners through the choice of specialized/scientific articles. Those articles are going to be a different way of advertisement: for people who don’t look at banners. On our third page we will have a dynamic navigation menu that will always stay in the center of the screen. User will be able to change between sections without loosing the current page that will make availability of information more convenient.
Applications will have system of targeted geo-location advertisement, push-messages, and email messages, and other ďŹ xtures that are applicable to the use on a mobile devices.
In todays world the portable and mobile devices have a lot of built in sensors. Here we are going to describe some that are useful for the WMA site: 1. Proximity Sensor Gesture commands for the applications. For example: turning pages of photos / artifacts without touching a screen – just swaying your hand over it. 2. Accelerometer With the help of this sensor we would be able to measure a number of steps that a visitor makes in a games, or quests. We will be able to change the interface orientation depending on the device positioning, or size. Manage the information if the device has been moved, or angled. 3. Light Sensor Light Sensor will be useful for creating games for children. For example: if they find a hidden object at the exhibit they will have to cover the phone with the hand, or put it in a special box, that the finding will be count to the player. 4. Gyroscope Sensor Those are commands that are executed by shaking the device certain number of times. For example: by shaking your phone two times you may fined and see people who are ready to take a tour together. 5. Magnetic Field Sensor (usually is not considered a sensor, but we included it in our list) Compass will be useful tool for the games and quests for children. Players will be able to fined a direction to the next finding.
The exhibit of artworks can have special markers (graphic or radio). The program for mobile devices will interact with those markers through the camera or WiFi/GPS modems. When the marker and mobile device will see each other it will bring an additional information about this artwork on the device’s screen. It could be video, 3D model, or sound. The curator of the museum, or an expert in this field can speak about particular artwork, it can be an educational tour, as a voice or/and video, some related items could be recommended. Artworks in the museum’s exhibit can have radio marks for translating the signal onto mobile devices that have WMA software. When the user gets in a zone of that signal the software receives a push-message and shows it to the user. Those technologies are going to be used to inform a WMA user about related places, or objects near by his location (depending on how far they are according to GPS). Software on the user’s mobile device receives a push-message informing about an artwork, exhibits, events, tells the address, directions. Those technologies are also can be used in creating games and quests for children. In the game they will have objects that are marked and they have to fined them, or do something about them.

Using geo-location (GPS) people will be able to communicate with others who is interested in the same event, or do tours together. In modern world a lot of companies use this technology for advertisement, marketing, and promotion of different events. QR-Code (quick response) – is a matrix code, developed by Japanize company “Denso-Wave in 1994. Today it is a widely spreading technology that is most popular in Japan. QR-Codes can be placed near by artworks, in different places of the exhibit rooms, posters and outdoor advertisement stands. User will be redirected to the WMA site, or, any web-page with more comprehensive information about the event at the moment of scanning the code.
In return WMA develops a part of the content with the museum’s curator, and receives a shared profit from sales and app visitors. If the visitor buys a specialized or scientific article placed by the museum - the income is shared. If the user of an app buys app’s services - the income is shared.
