As of December 31, 2014, there were 5,760 persons living with HIV disease (PLWHD) in Orange County. Figure 2.2 shows a map of the number of PLWHD by city of current residence.22 Figure 2.3 shows the 10 cities with the highest number of PLWHD. As shown:
Santa Ana and Anaheim have the largest numbers (1,222 and 921, respectively) of PLWHD. The city with the third highest number of PLWHD is Garden Grove, followed by Orange, Huntington Beach,
Costa Mesa, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Fullerton, and Tustin.
