UK Old Major, the prize boar, calls the animals of Manor Farm together. He has had a strange dream of a better future.
George Orwell’s world-famous fable tells the story of a revolution and its aftermath. Re-imagined by an awardwinning creative team, Animal Farm is a dynamic, daring and contemporary take on a timeless story.
Animal Farm is directed by Robert Icke, whose version of 1984 (co-adapted and directed with Duncan Macmillan) was a smash-hit in the West End and on Broadway. This brand new production features puppetry by Toby Olié (whose credits include War Horse, Running Wild and Goodnight Mister Tom) and is designed by four-time Olivier awardwinner Bunny Christie.
“I either write the book or sell the jewels. I’m kinda sentimental about the jewels.” So says legendary Hollywood icon Ava Gardner (Elizabeth McGovern, Downton Abbey, Once Upon a Time in America) to her ghost writer Peter Evans as they begin work on her tell-all biography that will shock Tinseltown. But as Peter attempts to glean the juicy details about her life story, her marriages to Mickey Rooney, Artie Shaw, and Frank Sinatra, and her turbulent relationship to Howard Hughes, an altogether different and unexpected journey unfolds in this theatrical glimpse into the private life of Hollywood’s original femme fatale.
Written & performed by Elizabeth McGovern. Directed by Moritz Von Stuelpnagel.
“All eyes are naturally on McGovern’s Ava… Not many contemporary actors could summon to the stage Gardner’s radiance and decrepitude simultaneously… the audience can’t help falling into a romantic trance” - Los Angeles Times

South Africa, 2019. Twenty-five years since the first post-apartheid democratic elections, two men from contrasting walks of life are thrust together to reflect on a quartercentury of change.
Written by and starring South African actor, activist and playwright John Kani, this refreshingly funny and vital new play premiered at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2019, before transferring to the West End in London. A co-production with the Fugard Theatre, it was directed by Janice Honeyman with moving performances from Antony Sher and John Kani. John is keen to tour with the production in North America.
“John Kani beautifully captures the complex divides of race, class and politics in a remarkable and moving new play”

“She’s casual, she’s chill, she’s not trying tootoo hard but she could also ruin your life.”
Written and performed by awardwinning writer and actress Obehi Janice (Blindspotting on Starz, Dicktown on FX) comes Nova - a new theatre-storytelling show following a Nigerian-American comedian as she navigates desire, power, and pussy.
Nova has discovered that Giacomo Casanova, ‘best known as one of the most famous lovers in history’, did the same. Why does this scammy white European man claim the title and the story? Casanova exists in notoriety and glory but Nova does it better.
Funny, insightful and groundbreaking, Nova moves us through a series of her romantic and sexual entanglements that will make us laugh, squirm, and holler. Nova is premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2023.
The Obie Award-winning play returns to the US. In a performance of controlled virtuosity, the playwright guides a new actor every night through a story of loss, suggestion and the power of the mind.
Through the life of the play Tim has worked with some of the great actors in the world, including Frances McDormand, F Murray Abraham, Sophie Okonedo, Laurie Anderson, Geoffrey Rush, and Peter Dinklage. No two shows are the same.
“An unexpectedly emotional 70 minutes that questions how we perceive and interpret the world and deal with grief and absence.”

- New York Times
“Adrian Lukis plays (Wickham) again…not so much reprising his role as a slinky hedonist as delicately prying it from Austen’s fingers”

This is the story of a man who falls in love with the woman of his dreams while in his dreams.
The Dream King is an epic and delightful journey of a psyche in revolt told through movement, clowning, physical comedy, silent film style projections, a dynamic musical score, and a healthy dose of wild imagination.
Chicago-based Teatro Vista (Theatre with a View) was founded in 1990 by Edward Torres and Henry Godinez to address the lack of opportunities for Latinx artists and other artists of color, and to explore the new work of Latinx writers that challenged not only the actor and director, but also the audience.
…a fast-paced, highly polished show full of eyepopping visual…Quijada is utterly endearing and hilarious.…charming and playful, bittersweet and deeply moving...
This amazing production, by turns charming and playful, bittersweet and deeply moving, could not be better. Or more satisfying.

The second longest-running play in the history of the West End, The Woman in Black is a chilling drama, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the 1983 novel by Susan Hill. Out of a gauze, a wicker skip and a door, Mallatratt conjured a complete world into which generations of young people have entered, surrendering to the ultimate magic of theatre: their own imaginations.
“The chills are irresistibly effective… a delicious spell of malevolence and menace”
The Woman in Black enjoyed two celebrated off-Broadway runs at The McKittrick Hotel in New York, met with rave reviews and sell-out audiences. A New York Times critics pick, Drama League award nominated, and winner of Best Revival of a Play at the OffBroadway Alliance awards.
