the UCD Students’ Union diary UCD Students’ Union diary offers your business a genuine opportunity to target and penetrate the student market, in a cost-effective manner. UCDSU is the largest body of students in Ireland. Our Union serves the 22,000 students of University College Dublin. This year for the first time UCD Students Union will be combining its annual Survival Guide with a Diary. We will be producing and distributing 8,000 170-page full-colour B5 Diaries. Distribution will take place as part of the orientation process, meaning that EVERY incoming student will receive a copy.

As well as being a diary, this is every student’s survival guide, providing them with important information covering a large array of topics such as health, travel, accommodation, education, entertainment, food and finance. The breadth and depth of information contained within this diary guarantees that it will be retained by students throughout the year. Unlike other flyers, publications and magazines this diary serves as a point of reference for students and will not be thrown away after Freshers’ Week.

This guarantees continuous use of the diary and continuous exposure of your brand throughout the year.

Advertising is strictly limited to 30 pages, offering each advertiser premium placement. All sponsors will be dealt with on a first-come first-served basis.

Reaching your Target Demographic

By advertising with us you will reach a target market of age 17 to 25 years old. Roughly 50% of the students will come from County Dublin and 50% from other cities and towns outside Dublin. All the students live in close proximity to UCD. 55% are female and 45% are male. Diarys are distributed as part of the orientation process, guaranteeing 100% distribution to all incoming freshers and overseas students.
