Waters 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs The 786th Force Support Squadron’s Rheinland Dining Facility, Lindberghof Dining Facility and the Jawbone Flight Kitchen were nominated to be inspected for the 61st annual Hennessy Trophy Awards program Feb. 21 on Ramstein. The nomination, in recognition of the outstanding work done at these three food service operations, is part of a program that promotes excellence in customer service and meal quality, inspires morale and improves management concepts and practices. The program is named after John Lawrence Hennessy, a man recognized by U.S. presidents as a leader in his field. Thought to be one of the nation’s most capable hotel and restaurant executives, Hennessy was appointed as chairman of the War Food Committee to develop food service systems capable of sustaining millions of military personnel involved in the war effort in 1943.
