USAG Rheinland-Pfalz welcomes new commander by Erinn Burgess Installation Management Command Public Affairs The Army’s largest garrison in Europe in terms of geographic footprint has a new commander overseeing the 29 sites and installations within its diverse area of responsibility. Colonel Jason T. Edwards assumed command of U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz in a ceremony at Daenner Kaserne, July 11. Ramstein takes to the skies for Thracian Summer 18

PLOVDIV, BULGARIA  Two U.S.

Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft and about 60 Airmen from Ramstein Air Base, arrived at Plovdiv, Bulgaria, July 10 and 11,

to kick-off Thracian Summer 2018. The 37th Airlift Squadron is facilitating the training, scheduled for approximately two weeks, with Bulgarian partners to continue to maintain readiness, trusted relationships, and interoperability. The training will include equipment and personnel airdrops both during
