Local businesses seize grant opportunity RECENTLY, the Greater Shepparton City Council, as part of their response to the COVID-19 pandemic, allocated an immediate fund of $120,000 and recently added another $50,000 to assist Shepparton based businesses to establish an online presence. Since then, a number of local businesses have taken advantage of the grant and began working on developing or expanding their online business. Continued on page 8

health benefits and can also be a way to socialise with others while still adhering to the social distancing rules. In recent weeks, RiverConnect and partners have recorded an impressive rise in the number of residents enjoying the local bushland
adjoining Shepparton and Mooroopna. Trail counters placed over the past three years along the Yanha Gurtji Shared Path Network indicate that daily visits in the last couple of weeks are averaging around 80 to 100 people per path. Continued on page 6
