THE mighty town of Murchison has been selected as a finalist for the 2023 Victorian Tiny Tourism Town Awards. If Murchison becomes the state winner, it will have the opportunity to represent Victoria at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards.
For the final stage of the judging process, the public vote is crucial, and Greater Shepparton City Council is encouraging community members to participate. The public vote will open on Thursday, June 1 at 9 am and close on Thursday, June 22 at 5 pm, with the Victorian winners being announced on Wednesday, July 26.

“We’d love to get as many votes as possible, and hopefully get Murchison over the line as the state winner,” said Mayor, Cr Shane Sali.
