Helping teachers do what they do best

Lale, Heidi, Ahmad and Katie (pictured from left) are among a team of new Education Support (ES) staff to start at Greater Shepparton Secondary College this term. They join a small army of ES staff who keep the college running smoothly. The first face you see on entering the college will likely be an ES staff receptionist while behind the scenes, ES staff do everything from administration to grounds maintenance to information technology roles.

While all ES staff support the college and its core commitment to teaching and learning, our latest recruits have been hired specifically to assist the College’s teachers in student engagement.

“We’re here because we want to make a difference in the lives of young people and support our teachers as best we can,” Katie says.
