At Shepparton ACE Secondary College students are well versed in the attributes of what it takes to forge ahead with their education in order to prepare for a bright and prosperous future.

Having embedded a strong student code of conduct within the culture of the College since its inception 16 years ago, students today readily uphold and value the school’s high expectations enabling them to thrive.
Michael Skinner is one of many highly achieving Year 12 students at ACE Secondary College and is well on his way to fulfilling his ambition of becoming a qualified plumber. Disengaged and lost amongst the enormous student body of a metropolitan school, Michael’s subsequent enrolment at ACE two years ago has had a significant impact on the direction of his education.
“I settled in at ACE pretty quick, and it is a much better school because of the smaller class sizes and because the relationship between the teachers and the students are so good. You can talk to the teachers here pretty much about anything.
“ACE has also helped me find and sort out a school-based apprenticeship in plumbing. I study three days a week and I work with Trent Davies at Statewide Plumbing the other two.”
In full agreement that it is the school’s high social and educational expectations that contribute to a safe and vibrant learning environment, Michael said, “All the students and teachers are happy and comfortable here, there is a relationship of respect and trust in the classrooms.”
