History Hub now open
THE Shepparton Heritage Centre’s History Hub celebrated their grand opening on Saturday. Located within the Scout Hall, adjacent to the History Museum, 156 Welsford Street, it is now open for research to the public and will be a space which celebrates the rich historical tapestry of the region.
The History Hub provides the community with research opportunities through their extensive Local Newspaper Archives spanning back to the early 1880’s, Greater Shepparton Archives, Extended History Library, and much, much more. The grand opening was a great success, and they are looking forward to welcoming the community through their doors.
“The event was informative and enjoyable by all that attended. Mr John Dainton’s (AM) visual and spoken presentation of ‘Shepparton’s Early History Buried Under Monash Park’ delved into the early township of Shepparton situated on the banks of the Goulburn River,” said Secretary Margaret Guppy on behalf of the Shepparton Heritage Centre Executive Committee.
“Everyone in attendance, with no doubt would have taken away a more informed understanding of the historical
journey of Shepparton. The Shepparton Heritage Centre Executive Committee would like to express our gratitude to all that have made today successful.
A big shout out to our Committee Members, dedicated Volunteers, The Shepparton News, Goulburn Murray Scout District, Encounter Christian Church, and Community
Members for your donations or loan of exhibits and memorabilia.”
Shepparton Heritage Centre (Museum) is open from Tuesday through to Sunday from 10:30-4.00pm. Shepparton Heritage Centre History Hub is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9.00am-1.00pm or via appointment.
Grants to boost volunteers
GRANT programs are open to local volunteers, with an aim to support the efforts of local volunteers, as well as to encourage an increase in volunteering.
Federal Member for Nicholls, Sam Birrell MP, urges local not-for-profit community groups to express interest in the Federal Government’s Volunteer Program. Mr Birrell said volunteers are the backbone of local organisations.
“Clubs and Groups across Nicholls rely on the selfless work of Volunteers and
these grants aim to give volunteers a muchneeded hand up.”
“Community groups, projects services and events could not go ahead without the efforts of volunteers," he said.
Eligible not-for-profit community groups can apply for grants between $1k and $5k. That can be used for to buy new equipment, cover the cost of fuel, assist with training for volunteers, support volunteer safety, and help conduct activities to promote and increase participation in the Goulburn
Valley.
Expressions of interest open Tuesday, August 1, 2023, and close Monday, September 4, 2023. Mr Birrell said organisations can request an EOI form by emailing, sam.birrell.mp@aph.gov.au
EOI’s will be assessed by a community panel, and those eligible will be invited to submit an application form to the Department of Social Services.

A safe place for men to share
By Aaron Cordy
AFTER the success of Shepparton’s first Men’s Table, which was set in February 2023, the not-for-profit organisation is giving men in the region another chance to open up in a safe space.
For 12 years The Men’s Table has given men a chance to come together once a month and talk in a supportive environment free of judgment. With over 150 tables around Australia, and an increase in interest in the local region, The Men’s Table is opening a second table in Shepparton. The Entrée - first dinner – will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, 6.30 - 9pm, at the Peppermill Inn.
The importance of reaching out to men in regional areas cannot be overestimated. Regional host, Dan Ball said, “Shepparton unfortunately has a higher-than-average suicide rate. So, you may not know, we lose eight men across the county to suicide every single day, but in terms of the national average, Shepp is above the national average. Therefore, we need to have preventative measures, which involves connecting men at stuff like the The Men Tables”.
For those who can’t come to the Entrée on Monday, August 28th, 2023, they do run zoom Entrees every couple of weeks.
The Men’s Table is a free avent, though bookings are a must to any men interested in attending, they can visit their website https:// themenstable.org/shepparton28/aug/ or http://themenstable.org.

Flower babies
A FLUTTER through the ABCs of the garden in Flower Babies with Butterfly Wings, written and illustrated by Elle Jaye Farren, was launched in front of members of GV Writers Group (GVWG) and Elle’s family on Wednesday, August 9.
The sixth book by Elle Jaye Farren, Flower Babies with Butterfly Wings , is a great adventure for young readers, with vibrant illustrations and a treasure hunt scattered through the pages.
“It has been wonderful to witness Elle’s journey in producing her latest book. She has intergraded her love of art and rhyme with
the colourful illustrations – bound to capture children’s imagination,” said GVWG president, Suellen Drysdale.
The self-published author joined the GVWG in October 2003, after attending the County Festival of Writing where she met Bev Crudden, who invited her to a GVWG meeting. Elle soon found her writing voice amongst a group of likeminded friends.
2012 saw Elle launch her first picture book, The Adventures of Phirestar on the Great Barrier Reef. More books followed, including Elle’s fathers' story, George. A novel about an Irish emigrant walking from Perth to Melbourne
across the Nullarbor Plain in 1927.

From little seeds grow international recognition
VISION AND HARD WORK AWARDED... The Kiwanis Club of Shepparton Sunrisers have received international recognition for their Sprout Healthy Lifestyle Garden and Outdoor Education Centre. Accepting a silver medal in the Kiwanis International Signature Project Awards, the accolade recognises the club’s vision and commitment towards fighting childhood obesity. By Natasha Fujimoto
TRIUMPHANTLY recognised for their innovative vision and hard work in creating the Sprout Healthy Lifestyle Garden and Outdoor Education Centre, the Kiwanis Club of Shepparton Sunrisers have been honoured during a presentation ceremony in Indianapolis, USA, for their exceptional vision.
Claiming the coveted silver medal for the Kiwanis International Signature Project Awards, the Sunrisers were selected from a pool of 425 clubs of a similar size for their innovative project.
Located just behind KidsTown , the Signature Project is a veritable garden of Eden for families, schools and community organisations and is replete with edible natives and exotics as well as educational facilities designed to promote healthy eating, active lifestyles and well-being.
Pleased as punch about the award, signature project leader, Felicity Butcher said, “As volunteers, we care about our community and work towards having a positive impact. We don’t seek accolades however; the Signature Project Silver Award engenders a whole host of positive outcomes for both the Club and the community.”
Humbled by the award, the silver medal has invigorated the club’s long-term vision for the Sprout Garden and confirms the project’s lasting benefits for the community now, and well into the future, Felicity said.
Having sown the first seeds for the Sprout Garden five years ago, the project has not only drawn the community together to combat childhood obesity but has also strengthened the bonds of the Club through collaboration.
“Winning the silver medal has demonstrated that a small
club in country Victoria can be recognised at an international level because it is part of a global organisation of volunteers, and it engenders pride in our club and what we can achieve working together.” Felicity said.
Attendance –every day counts
Three boys, two schools, working parents, a bunch of pets and a home in the country. There are laptops to charge, lunches to make and uniforms to be laundered - plenty for the O’Donnell family to do every day before the school bell rings. Nicole and Peter O’Donnell know better than most that making sure their boys Cody, Mason and Noah are organised, prepared and at school – on time and every day –underpins their success in education.
An Education Tutor, Nicole works to bring other students up to speed when they’ve missed significant time in the classroom.
• A child missing one day a fortnight is missing 20 days of school a year. That’s four weeks a year and by the time they sit Year 12 exams, they’ve missed an entire year of education.
• A child missing a day a week will miss 2 ½ years of school education – placing that student well behind their peers. The same amount of “lost learning” applies to a student missing an hour of school a day.
• Even missing 30 minutes a day, by arriving late to class or leaving early, adds up to four weeks a year, or an entire month of missed learning.
“Many parents would be surprised to know how even missing a day or two, every now and then, can really impact on their children’s enjoyment and achievement at school,” she says.
even missing a day or two, every now and then,
Like every family, the O’Donnells experience challenges from Monday to Friday in getting their boys “school ready” for Shepparton East Primary and Greater Shepparton Secondary College. “It isn’t always easy – but being on time and in class every day makes all the difference.”

Free and wild but with the nature to heal
By Natasha Fujimoto
HORSES lend us the wings we lack and sometimes it is the special bond that is shared between a horse and a human that can liberate both from the shackles of trauma.
Situated on a sprawling 25-acre property just outside of Shepparton, Horses for Hope is an organisation that harnesses the empathetic power of horses to cultivate a therapeutic relationship of healing and wellbeing with their human counterparts.
In a perfect marriage of need, Horses for Hope has joined forces with the Barmah Brumby Preservation Group (BBPG) and will incorporate one sanctuary brumby at a time into its ground-breaking Equine Assisted Narrative Therapy (EANT) program.
Having reared, raised and rehomed many brumbies in her time, BBPG president, Julie Pridmore knows only too well the restorative nature of the wild horses and why they will be the perfect fit for Horses for Hope.
“Brumbies are the most intelligent horses that I’ve probably ever worked with. As herd animals it is essential that they have a leader and when they are away from the herd mentality they can bond with a person quickly, which is perfect for Horses for Hope.
“As a nonverbal animal, a horse can only react to a person’s emotional state and can detect their feelings of anxiety, anger or even loneliness. To form a connection with a horse, you really have to come to terms with yourself; there is a saying- horses never lie- so when a person is face to face with a horse, they can’t hide their troubles, feelings or emotions.” Julie said.
With all the sanctuary’s fifty brumbies having survived traumas of their own, whether
A message from Jeremy Rensford, chair, Shepparton Ministers’ Association
I'VE recently returned from Africa, having been part of a team that partners with local leaders in community development work. The trip was outstanding, so exciting to see a positive future emerging for folk I’d consider family, and their wider communities.
A respected local elder (in his 90’s!) sagely mentioned, “There’s undiscovered treasure in our fields”. He wasn’t referring to hidden gold and jewels, but rather the potential to use the land for much greater returns. Interestingly, local farmers are not realising traditional farming methods were not best practice. Out of a sense of tradition and respect to their forefathers (admirable), they hadn’t changed age old farming methods. As a result, many suffer poverty.
We are working with leaders in this farming community to discover new ways of farming and harnessing the power of unity to increase market opportunities (more on that next month). In the richest of soil, their futures now look bright.
These principles remind me of some of us
Aussies. While not as many suffer material poverty, many of us struggle with spiritual poverty. And age-old ways and traditions sometimes don’t help. I wonder what it would look like for those who suffer in this way were to consider new ways of approaching this important part of life. If this is you, I’d encourage you to pick up a bible as the first port of call in discovering your purpose in life.
it be from drought, starvation and/ or the exterminator’s gun, Julie said the positives for the horses will be just as powerful as they are for their human partners.
“The person who works with the horse will become its leader away from the herd and with that leader the horse will develop a relationship of trust as well as sense of acceptance which alleviates anxiety very quickly.”

parents and carers to a variety of free resources they can use to foster language and cognitive skills in their children.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali, said Council wanted to make people aware that improving a child's language development did not have to be expensive or complicated.
"Every child in Greater Shepparton deserves to have their voice heard, nurtured, and developed, and with our free resources and through engaging in everyday activities, parents and carers can make a significant positive impact,” he said.
"Parents and caregivers
play such a key role in the early stages of a child's life. We're here to support their efforts and help all children grow their language skills, regardless of their cultural background."
The resources provided by Council have been designed to cater to a multitude of activities and programs, such as Rhyme and Story Time at local libraries, the Best Start Book Bag program, and a host of online content centred on
early language development. The initiative, which began in 2021, also includes newer features such as Book Tubs and Book Swap Boxes at local GP clinics and playgroups, to keep children engaged in reading and storytelling adventures. A flood of assistance for those not forgotten
WITH near 400 people across five local government districts including, Shepparton and Seymour, still reliant upon temporary accommodation due to flood impact, the Rotary Club of Shepparton South has secured a $36K Rotary International Disaster Recovery Grant to establish financial assistance and supports.
The Flood Recovery Support Program will provide gift vouchers of various amounts to applicants to relieve some of the financial pressures experienced while displaced from secure and permanent housing and further compounded by the high cost of living.
Partnering with the Goulburn Flood Recovery Service (GFRS) led by Family Care and the Greater Shepparton Foundation (GSF), the Flood Recovery Program aims to reach individuals who may not have yet sought assistance but would stand to benefit from a wraparound service tailored towards assisting with on-going flood related issues, including mental health.
“The Recovery Program vouchers are not only about providing money for food, medicine and immediate needs they’re about making sure that people are case managed so all their necessities will be looked after during the long-term recovery process,” said GSF executive officer, Amanda McCulloch.
“The floodwaters are long gone but the need is certainly still there,” GFRS manager, Amy Jones said before adding, “...but there are still people
their own
the
out there requiring assistance as they wait for structural assessments on their properties, seek to rebuild or find new rentals. The impact on mental health around all of this has been huge. The journey is far from over.”
Flood impacted local people that would like to access this support are encouraged to contact the Goulburn Flood Recovery Service on 5823 4700. Those requesting support will be assessed against a set of eligibility criteria.

Measuring up to Ravi
RAVI the Reticulated Python is ready to stretch out and make Kyabram home. More than five meters long and weighing 22kg, Ravi is the newest addition to the Kyabram Fauna Park’s Reptile Habitat.
KFP life sciences coordinator Ellice Duncan said the 22 year-old python (which means sun in Hindi) is busy exploring, swimming in his own pond and basking under the heat lamps.
“It’s fascinating to watch this beautiful python slither around in the heated waterfall and pond, or bask in a coil shape that show off his yellow and black pattern,’ Ms Duncan said.
The world's third heaviest snakes, Reticulated Pythons are powerful, nonvenomous, ambush predators who strike their prey with rapid speed to devour them using body constriction. Fortnightly they consume
mammals up to 10 times the size of their head.
“To enable hunting behaviour, keepers create a scent trail using his food,” Ms Duncan said.
“Feeding him using scent trails not only encourages Reticulated Python’s natural ambush behaviours, but also provides mental stimulation which is important for all reptiles.”
Reticulated pythons are native to South and Southeast Asia and are abundant in the rainforest and wetlands of Indonesia, India and China.
The longest recorded Reticulated Python measured was an astounding 10m.
Along with the Reticulated Python, Ky Funa Park is home to the world's most deadly snake – the Inland Tipan – as well as 15 other species, which can be seen between 10am to 5pm daily.

Recycling and re-loving the throwaways
FINDING THE GEMS WITH A CONSCIENCE... As the second largest consumer of textiles in the world, Australians simply have to rethink their predilection for fast-fashion as throwaways clog landfill and pollute the environment with methane and microplastics released from decomposing materials. Carli Lappin (pictured), has avidly purchased quality garments from Op shops for over forty years and is passionate about recycling, but its is the hidden gems that she finds that truly thrill.
By Natasha Fujimoto
THE second largest consumer of textiles in the world, Australians on average purchase 56 items of clothing per year, most of which are made from non-sustainable, non-durable materials. While the fashion industry churns out ever more inexpensive clothing, the negative impact on the environment continues to increase.
The fashion industry is responsible for an estimated 10 percent of global CO2 emissions.
has been a zealous op shopper for over 40 years.
Beginning her long-love affair with oppies in a quest to save money as a young mum, Carli soon discovered the joy of finding hidden gems just waiting to be loved in Shepparton’s numerous thrift stores.
“Right from the very beginning I could see that you could go and buy quality clothes in op shops, as well as books, toys and really beautiful homewares all for little money.
“But now, op shopping is about so much more. It’s about recycling and reusing and not just throwing things away. It’s also about helping people out; when you go to Vinnies and Hospice for example, you’re actually making a contribution.
Lappin
While the average Aussie only wears 40 percent of their clothes, the throwaways clog landfill in developing nations, taking up to a hundred years to break down, releasing methane and sometimes microplastics into the soil and eventually polluting waterways. Taking a stand against the needless waste but still enjoying ‘the thrill of the hunt’ while shopping for fashion garments, Carli
“So, it’s about reusing, but it's also about the unrivalled quality of the clothing and the crafted items that you can find, which would be such a tragedy to throw away.” Carli said.
Shaping the future of retirement villages
THE future of retirement villages was on the agenda Monday, August 7, 2023, in a discussion between the Shadow Minister for Consumer Affairs, Tim McCurdy, Nationals Member for Shepparton District, Kim O’Keeffe, and a group of residents.
“We had a really productive morning hearing from a wide range of local people who each shared productive feedback on a number of important matters,” said Ms O’Keeffe.
“I’d like to thank everyone who came along for sharing their lived experience with us and helping us to understand any concerns they may have, which will help inform the future changes to retirement villages.
“...retirement villages play a substantial part of people’s lives. We want to make sure the process is understood and that the locals making the
move have the support they need to make an informed decision.”
Their discussion centred around retirement villages entry and exit fees, dispute resolution processes, among a range of matters that need attention.
“It is apparent that changes need to be addressed and it is important the community feels understood raising any issues they may have,” said Ms O’Keeffe.
Mr McCurdy is continuing to meet with the community and stakeholders around Victoria to gather input on the Retirement Villages Act.
If you were unable to attend Monday, August 7, 2023, but would like to share your thoughts, please email kim.okeeffe@parliament.vic.gov.au

Paving pathways and future success
WHAT defines a successful student? Well, as the Greater Shepparton Secondary College (GSSC) Careers Team knows, success can look different for each individual student, which is why the Subject Selection and Course Counselling program is such an important feature on the annual school calendar. Kicking off at the start of Term 3, our Year 10 students spend two days learning remotely, to allow for course counselling to take place. This provides students and their families an opportunity meet with a qualified GSSC Careers Practitioner for an individual and tailored appointment before making their final selection of subjects for next year.
“Bringing parents and guardians in on the course counselling is an important feature of this process as it ensures students and their families are all on the same page when it comes to their senior secondary years, and also allows parents to better understand and support their child through VCE/VCE-VM,” GSSC Careers Manager Tarsh Boyko said.
“This is complimented by our Year 12 immersion days and family information nights held at the start of the year.
“We know that our parents and guardians are their children’s biggest influences and advocates when it comes to career and pathway choices, so we want to build those strong school/family partnerships and provide the best possible support for our young people.”
In addition to setting students up for success in their senior years, GSSC has expanded its subject selection program to cater for junior years’ students, where earlier this term the Careers Team presented subject selection booklets to Years 7 and 8s during neighbourhood assemblies.
“Capturing students during these earlier years helps to generate a buzz around student’s future aspirations and assists them to know what to expect regarding subject selection in future years and the value in this process and their participation in it,” Ms Boyko said.
GSSC Executive Principal Barbara O’Brien said there is a huge amount of work that goes into this program to assist

students to navigate their own pathways and career aspirations.
“I am so proud of our careers and pathways offerings, which are unique to our college and provide our students the best possible opportunities for achieving their goals and future dreams,” she said.
“While we encourage our students to set high expectations of themselves, achieving their personal best is just that – personal.
“This is why this program and our overall careers and
pathways offerings are so valuable being tailored and targeted and broad in the opportunities and partnerships made available to our students through industry, business, further education institutions and the broader community.”
Throughout the school year, students are provided a range of Careers and Pathway opportunities both within the curriculum and as extra program and activities.
Here’s what our families and students had to say:
Vanje Year 10
The careers advice is great because it’s very tailored to your individual pathway and helps you break down the different ways you can get to where you want to be.
Liam Year 10 “
It’s been good to learn more about the process and changes since my other children attended secondary school so that I can better support Liam.
I’ve found the process really helpful. I’m hoping to find a career in panel beating and spray painting so it was good to find out more about what will help get me there through work experience and during my VCE-VM years.
Khatera Year 10 “
I have found the career support at GSSC really helpful to choose a pathway that you really want and are interested in doing after year 12

THE Brush-tailed Phascogale has been selected as the Catchment Critter of the Month, as a part of the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority's project called ‘Our Catchments Our Communities: Taking Care of Country.’ This initiative is funded by the Victorian Government.
According to Janice Mentiplay-Smith, the project officer at Goulburn Broken CMA, the Brush-tailed Phascogale is a nocturnal and mainly arboreal creature. This means that it depends on the existence of thriving and interconnected forests and woodlands, as it needs these environments to move through the treetops while searching for nectar, insects, spiders, centipedes, and bird eggs.

Burning twice as bright for half as long
“As a hollow-dependent species, the Brush-tailed Phascogale will use several tree hollows in which to nest and shelter during the day,” Ms Mentiplay-Smith said.
“This is possibly a predator evasion tactic but means the demand for nest hollows is further exacerbated. Where natural hollows no longer exist, it readily uses artificial nest boxes.
“It’s easy to determine if a nest box is being used by either a glider or a phascogale: Gliders build their nest out of fresh leaves and keep their nest box clean, whereas a Brush-tailed Phascogale constructs its nest out of a variety of materials –mainly stringybark but also animal hair, feathers, snakeskin, and even the desiccated bodies of dead animals.
“As with its relatives, the antechinus and dunnarts, the Brush-tailed Phascogale leads a short, fast life. After mating in late autumn to early winter, the male perishes. As he is around

Lions legend’s 200th means huge weekend for club
B u y i n g y u r f i r s t h o m e is s not t impossible. .
SEYMOUR Lions Co-Captain Dylan
Scopel is set to play his 200th senior game this weekend as Seymour takes on Tatura at Kings Park, becoming just the 17th player to do so in the club’s history and the first since Matt O’Keefe in 2017.
Scopel made his senior debut for the club in 2010, playing six games while splitting the rest of the season with the Lions’ Under 18s side.
Since then, Scopel has been a reliable presence in the senior side, captain since 2021 and regularly finishing at the pointy end of club’s Best & Fairest award.
Seymour Lions President, Gerard O’Sullivan, congratulated Scopel on the achievement and highlighted his importance to the club over more than a decade of service.
Mr O’Sullivan encouraged everyone to get down to Kings Park on Saturday for what will be amassive day for the Lions.
“I’d encourage everyone across the
region to get to Kings Park to celebrate Dylan’s career alongside another really important event for the club,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
“We will be holding our fourth annual breast cancer fundraiser, with all funds raised going towards Breast Cancer Network Australia. Tickets can be bought online with the event kicking off at 2pm. We’ll also be honouring Sarah Locke who sadly passed just over a year ago after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
“For us, this weekend is about celebrating all the amazing people across our community, enjoying each other’s company and hopefully some big wins across the board for Dylan’s 200th.”
Tickets can be purchased online via the link www.trybooking.com/events/ landing/1090599.

A REMARKABLE MILESTONE... Fiona Down (pictured) of Tallygaroopna Football and Netball Club achieved her 250th A Grade game against Rushworth on Saturday, August 5. So much more than a club, Fiona describes TFNC as being more like a ‘family’. Photo: Supplied
JOINING an illustrious group of zealous netballers at the Tallygaroopna Football and Netball Club (TFNC), Fiona Down achieved her 250th A Grade game against Rushworth on Saturday, August 5.
With only four other netballers within the club to previously reach this remarkable milestone, Fiona’s commitment to both the game and the sport has seen her attain many accomplishments since her commencement in 2001.
Accumulating a total of 373 games to date (250 A Grades games plus 123 B Grade Games), Fiona is also the current A Grade coach.
Her dedication and skill as a coach facilitated the A Grade Premiership win last year, while her coaching expertise has also smoothed the way for a multitude of B and C Grade premiership wins over the years.

A STRIKE of a right foot has sent Shepparton born Cortnee Vine, and the Matildas, into Australian folklore. The Matildas toppled soccer superpower France after a nine-shot penalty shootout to see them through to the World Cup semi-finals.
A far cry from the world stage, the Sydney F.C. forward’s humble beginnings began at St Georges Road Primary, tagging along behind older brother, Jayden.
Cortnee attended St Georges Road Primary School when she first kicked the round ball. Playing as a sixyear-old in the under tens. Before mum and dad, Hedie and Garry Vine, packed up the family and moved to Brisbane.
The enthralling match had many heart stopping moments as it drew into overtime with neither side able to score. Then it was onto the penalty shootout, with Australia and

Marching to the beat of the Goulburn Valley
By Aaron Cordy
A TWIRL, a hop and a march brought seven teams from as far as Melbourne and Mt Gambier, SA to the region, as the Greater Valley Calisthenics team hosted the first competition of the year on the first weekend of August, 2023 in Shepparton and Mooroopna. Ranging from Tinies to Master, competing in solo and team avents, it was the Subs Juniors who walked away with the prize.
Competing in Rods, Clubs, Free Arm, March, Aesthetics and a Song and Dance section, the girls aged between 8-10 from the region make up the SUB Junior team. Finishing with a 5th, a 3rd, two 2nd and two 1st, they were the overall comp winners in their age group.
The team was led by Natalie Witchen who has been coaching since 2004. “The Sub Juniors team consists of 10 girls who have worked incredibly hard over the first half of the year learning six routines,” she said.
“This time of year is extremely exciting because now the girls have multiple opportunities to perform on stage. Competing at the Greater Valley Calisthenics Competiton was very special to the team because they were able to perform in front of their families and a local audience, the girls competed against six other teams to take out the win.”
While the other local teams didn’t fare as well, there is opportunity to improve with the next meet in Echuca, Friday to Sunday, 8–10, 2023.
