REI relocates to Northeast Dallas

REI is the first retailer to sign on at the new Half Price Books shopping center, located at Northwest Highway and Shady Brook. A year ago, HPB bought six acres adjacent to its store near Lake Highlands and announced plans to develop the property. REI, the leading outdoor retailer in Dallas, will vacate its LBJ location to move into 34,000 square feet at 5929 E. Northwest Highway in spring 2015. The ningham Architects of Dallas designed the center.

Perky Poodle reopens in Shops at Mockingbird

Last month, after 38 years of business in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, Perky Poodle Grooming & Boutique has moved to the Shops at Mockingbird at 4560 W. Mockingbird, Suite 126. Perky Poodle has been in the dog-grooming business more than 51 years.
