FIERCE FEMALE UPDATE: CHRISTIE MYERS

One of our fierce females, Christie Myers, was a top five finalist for the Dallas Foundation’s Good Works Under 40, an award dedicated to up-and-coming and inspiring leaders who are making a better Dallas. As a finalist, she received $2,500 for Imagine Dallas Inc.

DREDGING. Good news for the White Rock Lake community, bad news for silt. The City Council approved the White Rock Lake dredging feasibility study in a meeting in October. The proposal pulled $99,300 from the White Rock Lake Beautification Fund and $176,345 in FEMA grant money.
