PICKLEBALL. In addition to inside courts at Churchhill Recreation Center, an outside tennis court was recently retrofitted to accommodate pickleball. The game, which is a cross between tennis, racquetball and ping pong, has had a 650 percent increase in participants over the last six years, according to the USA Pickleball Association. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
