hile routes have not yet been settled, one contemplated option connecting the Nobby Beach light rail station to Robina City Parklands would service Pizzey Park, Bond University, Varsity College, Varsity Foreshore Parklands, Robina Town Centre, and Robina Hospital.

The project represents our community’s first-ever district park and ensures our area boasts the same incredible facilities enjoyed elsewhere on the Gold Coast. TURTLE NESTING IN FULL SWING

ady Elliot Island is a significant nesting location for Green and Loggerhead Turtles. Nesting season normally occurs between November to February, with hatchlings emerging from January to March. Nesting can occur anywhere around the island but the majority of nests have been recorded in the sand dunes in front of the resort and either end of the airstrip. The nesting process can take between 2 - 8 hours depending on the turtle species and how quickly a suitable nesting site is located. If the female turtle considers the nesting site unsuitable, it will move to another location.
