Also recently unveiled by the Lexus brand was the Lexus LF Z – a concept (although, almost production ready), full battery electric vehicle. This high-performance ultraluxury electric vehicle is slated for a circa 2025 release; however, a number of the concept features will surely begin to appear on some of the range in the meantime. Locally our infrastructure is being put in to place to support the release of the Full Electric Lexus UX300E later this year, which will include charging stations in our carpark, workshop and showroom. The reality of the roll out of full electric vehicles is becoming very apparent … it is no longer somewhere down the track, it is now. I certainly look forward to a Full Electric Vehicle’s seamless drive and performance with Lexus renowned build quality and attention to detail, as well the aftersales service that is second to none. The Gold Coast is certainly pumping again, with so many new people arriving from interstate and overseas to begin their new lives here and why not? The responsibility has never been more apparent when our sales team make sales worth millions of dollars over a face time or video call, that at times have taken hours to show the property. Who would have thought an original home recently sold by us in Staysail Crescent would pave the way for prices in Istana View to exceed $3 million, when only a year earlier properties could be bought in Istana in the low $2 million price bracket.

Homeowners are poised to take advantage of the strongest prices the Gold Coast has seen in over 30 years however in turn are finding it difficult to repurchase in the same market. This delicate balance is keeping stock levels low and this is where it is critical to have an experienced, compassionate team to understand your situation and come up with a viable property solution. I am extremely proud of my team who have been successful in assisting many families from all walks of life with their varied property needs. Recently we have sold some properties in Clear Island Waters with 6 month settlements at record prices at the time the contract was signed. The buyers when they eventually settled enjoyed a 20% rise in property value. Luckily the seller also enjoyed a property price rise as they also bought with a 6 month settlement. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to accept the additional risk and accelerate towards your financial goals. Factors to consider when making this decision are: TIME – How long you want to invest for TOLERANCE – How much risk you are comfortable with CAPACITY – What your current health and financial circumstances are Your financial and lifestyle goals may include saving for retirement, ensuring your mortgage is paid off or to have a second

source of income. To achieve this, building wealth and creating an investment portfolio can seem extremely difficult to anyone who’s only familiar with financial products such as bank accounts and term deposits. In recent years, we have seen a huge increase in the number of people investing their savings and surplus cash flow in ways other than savings accounts or term deposits. According to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), close to 9 million Australians hold investments outside of superannuation or their home with more than half investing in assets such as direct shares, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Managed Funds, Managed Accounts (SMAs) or property.

The value of the ETF does go up or down with the index or asset they’re tracking. The benefits of using ETFs are diversification, reporting transparency, low costs and simplicity of trading. MANAGED FUNDS A managed fund involves pooling together money from different investors into one fund that is invested and controlled by a professional investment manager. Funds differ in the types of assets you can invest in. You can invest in a single asset class such as shares or fixed interest or a multisector option such as growth or balanced fund, which contain a mix of different asset classes. The main benefit of using managed funds is that the investor can choose a fund that is suited to their needs and objectives. The level of risk that a managed fund attracts will depend entirely on the individual fund that you choose. Therefore, a major part of our planning process involves knowing your risk-profile prior to making the right decision in selecting these funds. Typically speaking, a managed fund aims to outperform an indexed market as part of its investment strategy allowing investors to reap higher returns over other types of investments such as an ETF. In terms of
