Welcome to Autumn 2024, we are so grateful to be celebrating a successful conclusion to our Summer selling season. 35 properties proceeded to be either sold or under contract in January 2024 alone, and over 50 new listings signing with us, resulting in our best start to a year as an agency. This unexpected boom in sales as seen sale prices rising due to demand, with many of our regular clients continuing to touch base with us for what is coming next as far as suburbs where we can expect the prices to continue to rise, and where to focus their search.

These rises we attribute to multiple factors: a reduction in the number of available properties for either purchase or to rent, the cash rate holding, and I believe storm season affected many of those who were expecting to go on the market, or who were forced to withdraw to facilitate repairs. We continue to watch this space as far as what is coming next and make educated guesses, but anticipate the growth is only set to continue as values of property across the Gold Coast continues to rise. There has never been a better time to invest or purchase if one can take that step, and we would love to be considered to assist in your property journey.

In recent company news, we have welcomed new members to our team in the form of Zac Palmer, my associate who I am excited to introduce to my clients. I value his dedication to rallying for agency standards, prioritising client relations, and ensuring a seamless and meaningful understanding is met throughout every interaction. Also joining us is Maja Ball, an experienced player in the field of property development, renovation and staging,

all of which make her a valuable addition with incredible potential to achieve. We also welcome Yasmin Murray, a bright and positive member of the team who brings fresh energy along with years of experience in the real estate industry, known for her dedication to client services and work ethic. Newest to the team is Darcy Brassington, who joins us with multitiered experiences in property management and sales support. She is a capable and dedicated individual who we know will be an asset to the team.

Each day brings us closer to expansion, with our new Southport location in its final stages of negotiation and planning before we begin our physical move there for the southern Phillis Team. These agents are highly established in their core areas and they are excited to get immersed even further in these suburbs. We firmly believe proximity and presence plays a key part in providing market knowledge to these areas, and this move allows us to effectively service these clients in the best way possible.
