THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO VISUALIZE SURROUNDINGS AROUND MONUMENTS WITH FRESH PERSPECTIVES FOR THEM TO BE MEANINGFUL AND RELEVANT SPACES WITH THE HISTORICAL SPIRIT AND BECOME A PART OF THE DAILY LIFE OF THE CITY OR A TOWN OR A VILLAGE.




AN ARENA DESIGNED OPTIMIZING THE CLIMATIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL NEEDS OF THE SPACE . PLANNING MAJORLY ACCORDING TO THE VOLUMETRIC REQUIREMENTS OF SPACES.


The sports complex has been designed and planned so that it can be used by all categories of users. The whole building stands on one plan with no staircase , just ramps .

Zoning done as per the flow of movement and individuality of the sports.


The exhibition arena and shops has been planned on different levels and are scattered over the area just to create a sense of interactions and amalgamation of nature into built form

REVITALIZATION OF NAINI GHATFRONT, ALLAHABAD IN ACCORDANCE WITH USER MOVEMENT AND BEHAVIORAL DYNAMICS AIM: To revive the river Yamuna through proposals of interventions aimed at enhancing the functional and scenic heritage of the river. Special attention in being laid to endure reviving and conservation of the city fabric in the river line city area & along the river bank. PROJECT BACKGROUND AND INTRODUCTION Situated in the Awadh region of Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad is synonymous to sangam. The river attracts quite a good quantity of visitors throughout the year; hence the riverfronts have emerged as a lively urban core of cities – defining the SOCIO-CULTURAL, INTELLECTUAL, ECNOMIC AND RECREATIONAL SENSES. This project aims at pulling back the Naini Ghatfront back from the marginal use and neglect into the mainstream of public activity and investments. Thus, initiating a proposal thus presenting with a unique set of opportunities to generate quality urban- cultural spaces for the people. Increased tourism, employment and growth. Gaining new recreational opportunities. Expanded awareness of the river life.

The case studies were majorly based on the activity mapping of the site to know the user movement and the dynamics of spaces on how they are used and accessed by users

Most importantly, “A VITAL AND VIBRANT WATERFRONT SERVES TO UNITE RESIDENTS AND VISITORS IN A SHARED EXPERIENCE OF THE CITY, JUST AS THE CITY PUBLIC SPACES AND STREETS”.

VISHRAM GHAT , MATHURA MAJORITY OF THE SURFACE AREA OF THE GOMTI BASIN IS GENERALLY FLAT THE RIVER IS PERENNIAL THE MAJOR URBAN SETTLEMENTS ON THE BANKS OF THE RIVER. SAI RIVER IS ITS MAJOR TRIBUTAORY HAVING DRAINAGE AREA OF 12,900 SQ. KM., APPROXIMATELY 43% OF THE TOTAL CATCHMENT AREA.
