Middle Eastern Turkey Burgers with Israeli Salad

The only thing brighter than the flavors in these juicy, veggie-topped turkey burgers is that they smartly come together on the grill in ten minutes.

BURGERS
Cooking spray 1 lb lean ground turkey ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley and mint (a mix of both) 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander 2 tbsp chopped red onion 1 tsp salt
Burger buns, feta, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes (optional), for serving
ISRAELI SALAD
1 cup chopped cucumber 1 cup chopped tomato ¼ cup sliced red onion 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 tbsp olive oil ½ tsp salt
Pinch of black pepper 1. In a large bowl, gently mix the turkey, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, and onion. Form the mixture into 4 patties and season with salt.
2. Coat a grill or grill pan with cooking spray and heat over medium high heat. Cook the patties until a meat thermometer inserted in the middle reads 165°F, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
3. While the burgers cook, in a medium bowl combine the Israeli salad ingredients.
4. Serve the burgers topped with the salad, or on a bun topped with feta, lettuce, and tomato, if desired.
