Antonio Sánchez thanks to the winners "to be a part in the execu on of the best projects worldwide in the use of marble. " The Associa on of the marble of Andalusia recently celebrated the XXIX edi on of its tradi onal Macael Awards wrapped up by the highest representa ve of the Government of Spain, the President Mr. Mariano Rajoy Brey and the representa ve of the Andalusian Government, Sr. Susana Diaz Pacheco, who for the second year has seen these awards. During the The President of AEMA, Antonio Sánchez Tapia ceremony, Diaz received a mortar symbolizing the tradi on of working in marble in Macael, while Rajoy recieved the Special Macael Award 2015. This year, the awards ceremony has enjoyed performing 2 live interviews, one singer David Bisbal (Award for Communica on) has highlighted the marble industry as a bulwark of our province and another president ASID Randy Fiser (Ins tu on Award) which has demonstrated its vision of the world of stone and interior design. As usual, during the gala it has been planned a video, but this year has focused on images and tes monials from real people (stonemason, cra1sman, businessman, technician, architect and designer) that "today s ll alive, that reflect the past and our present and available to us to achieve our future, "said the president of EEA. A1er the interviews and video projec on, we proceeded to the awards ceremony the protagonists of the evening, the winners of the XXIX edi on, Antonio Sanchez has acknowledged in gra tude "for allowing our companies to be partners in the implementaon of the best projects worldwide in the use of marble. " Throughout his speech Tapia Sanchez praised "the efforts of our employees, who as we have believed and believe in our project. Professionals who have joined and involved in our businesses and with every day that we achieve our projects. "

As for the support of various public authori es, the president has broken every one, highligh ng "the commitment in every way Macael Mayor Raul Mar nez from the associa on that I preside want to thank publicly." Also the president of the Provincial Council of Almería, Gabriel Amat "for their Family Picture support of our region and its companies through ra onaliza on aid and sustainability of the municipali es of our region." The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Susana Diaz highligh ng "the ability of closeness between EEA and the Andalusian government enabling our industry today are be9er prepared to face a globalized and compe ve market. I hope to con nue working hand in hand in the different needs of our industry. " And the prime minister of Spain, Mariano Rajoy emphasizing "stability and economic growth generated by the government of Spain and allowing it to be great witness of the efforts we have made to help ensure that growth is a reality. The marble industry are part and engine of that growth. " He also asked the Central Government to support the Protected Geographical Iden ty Products Agroalimentarios not a reality. " The president reiterated his inten on to create a new strategic plan "help to work on the concepts of product differen a on, valuing a much more ac ve way everything related to the design, distribu on channels, customer service concepts which ul mately they are intrinsically linked to the brand idea. No doubt this would be the next great achievement that we should be targe ng each of the companies that make up the sector to be able to develop our businesses, unique, new designs that dis nguish us from the rest of the market and meet a premise that guarantees success: to be able to have our name reaches the end of the marke ng chain. "

The previous strategic plans (1983 and 1998) were "a big lever, helping to lay the groundwork for the consolida on of a sector that generates employment and wealth and have made our industry today is a benchmark worldwide." Also Antonio Sanchez had words of praise for the outgoing president, Antonio MarBnez, for "his hard work and despite presiding over our partnership in one of the worst mes in our industry, he has been able to maintain the illusion and enthusiasm the objec ves it set itself ". Moreover, Sanchez Tapia has had very moving words for his family, emphasizing "the values received by my parents based on respect and the effort to achieve goals." His brothers "to share the business and family project that unites us" and the companion of his life, his wife Eve "who have received so much support and with whom I have grown personally and professionally, and I thank you your great support and love. " In another vein, new for this year's gala was broadcast in streaming through YouTube channel Macael Awards and have shared some of the moments and images of the gala, through social networks. CRAFT AWARD "The jury gives the Cra1 Award to FAMILY MAUSOLEUM in Vila-Real, situated in Castellón. The sculptu-
re was designed by the architects Mr. Pascual and Mr. Javier Mata Sebas á Lahuerta. It has a symbolic sculptures of 2.30 meters, represen ng the triumph over death and the mee ng of the soul with God. In the various sculptures that make up the Mausoleum, they can be observed perfectly and the details of each one, and the whole set is striking and spectacular".
Mr. Pascual Mata Sebas á, architect, thanked to the company Cuellar, Arquitectura del Mármol "the work of its workshops made by cra smen who have been able to understand and realize the project entrusted marble."

INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR ASIA “The jury gives the Interna onal Award for Asia HOTEL CARLTON, built in Singapore, which have done a reform in its 650 rooms using 4.000 square meter of Silestone in different sizes and colors. The direc on of the project was by Interna onal Studio of Architects and Designers WOW Architects/Warner Wong and obtained a modern, high design and comfortable rooms thanks to the use of the quali es of Silestone.
Ms. Phoebe Ong Seok Mui, designer (Wow Architects) highlighted "the opportunity to select some products such beauty and such an amazing performance as Silestone or Dekton".

INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR LATIN AMERICA "The jury gives the Interna onal Award for La n America to the building RESIDENTIAL TORRE ANACANOA, built in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the promoter being Mr. Jesús Rodriguez Sandoval and the architects Mr. Daniel Pons, Mr. Ángel Gómez Canaan y Mrs. Nancy Tavares. It is considers the most luxury and high building in Santo Domingo. It has 40 floors and in its interior has white Macael marble combined with others marbles. It has used 45.000 square meters of pieces in different sizes in common areas, lounges, spa and apartments".
Mr. Jesús Rodriguez Sandoval, promoter highlighted that "there is no way that our projects do not carry a product that is pride Macael". It is a building with 40 coated on the inside with white marble floors.
