Dear members of the IFMSA family, this event has an special meaning for me It's the consolidation of a generation of trainers who pass the post to a new generation. Never die the fascination to learn, that flame of passion to transcend continue present until the end. I just want to wish you success in this step of your journey through this IFMSA so loved and loved by all. This SRT was born with the aim of generating this opportunity for the future trainers of the region, to obtain the certification of IFMSA and to reach one more cusp within its passage by this beautiful institution. It's the largest and considered sacred by the indigenous settlers, who also call it Imbakucha. One can stop at a pier to admire Mount Imbabura in its magnitude and take photos, take a boat ride or paint the lake, which is 2,660 meters above sea level

u O d l So Basic Training Skills As TMET Trainers will be expected to give trainings related to medical education, they should have general knowledge about how to give a training and be a good facilitator for trainings.
Education, Learning & Teaching. A TMET Trainer should be well oriented to the model of a good teacher and how to implement good teaching techniques to provide a high quality learning environment for medical students. Furthermore, A TMET Trainer should be aware of what education is, and how can it be provided to ensure fruitful outcomes (outcome-based education)
Assessment & Evaluation Understanding different ways of assessment & evaluation as well as differences between them is important for a TMET Trainer

Curriculum Planning , Development , & Implementation A TMET Trainer should be aware of what should be considered to plan a curriculum and develop it to be suitable for medical students and how to implement such curriculum to reach the targeted goals
Student Involvement A TMET Trainer should be aware of the role of students in medical education, how to effectively involve them in decision making and medical education system building, and how to encourage them to advocate for their rights
Professionalism & Ethics A TMET Trainer should be aware of the professional & ethical code of conduct a good teacher/leader should follow and what to do in different situations where this could be challenged

PRET A Professional and Research Exchange Training is an international meeting of the IFMSA, where exchange officers and exchange motivated students from a region can meet and participate in trainings, workshops and small working groups.

TRAINING NEW TRAINERS IFMSA is an organization which counts mainly on its members and medical students worldwide, thus capacity building and non-formal education are two main ways to achieve the needs, vision and mission of the IFMSA, IFMSA training division is always providing this to its members creating training sessions depend mainly on the peer education and non-formal ones.

A TNT is focused for IFMSA members with the interest of knowing the “how” of a process. Most people with an idea of a project for example know what they want to do and; they might even know why exactly they want to do it. Through non-formal education, the idea is reach the tools of how to do it. In the case of Trainers, at the end of a TNT not only should they have a vast knowledge on that “how”, but, most importantly, they should know how to retransmit that knowledge to participants in a training session. Ipas This workshop is part of the IFMSA and Ipas strategy on women’s and adolescents’ reproductive health and safe abortion, a collective effort from both organizations that aims to increase IFMSA members' awareness of, experiences with and ability to effectively advocate for women and adolescent’s reproductive health, especially safe abortion.
