fotecap tecno

tecno high density film film for high density stencils up to 700 micron ÎÎ Solvent and water resistant ÎÎ To be transferred by direct/indirect method, use FOTECOAT 1840 for solvent based inks or 1834 for water-based medium ÎÎ High fliexibility and transparency ÎÎ Short exposure ÎÎ Decoats easily with normal chemicals applied to squeegee side only

available thicknesses (in microns) 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 700 Lamination

You can laminate 2 or more TECNO sheets face to face. No adhering liquid is necessary Remove protective plastic sheet from both films. Place one film on the table and use a hard rubber roller to combine the sheets. Peel carrier sheet and continue at step 3 or repeat for more sheets.

Usage Directions 1

2

4

5

1. Prepare Degrease thoroughly and let dry. Work under yellow safelight conditions 4. Peel Carrier, Expose, Washout IMPORTANT: Let the film cool down before peeling the carrier; dry again for a few minutes. Place right-reading positive in position. Expose. Washout at 25ºC (immerse in lukewarm water for a few minutes) Dry thoroughly.

18

3

2. Coat 1x print side, 2x squeegee side. WET on WET. Do NOT dry. Use Fotecoat 1834 SOLO for waterbased or 1840 for solvent-based inks. The coating should cover most of the mesh area 5. decoating after printing Remove ink from stencil. Use decoating chemicals on the squeegee side. TECNO Film comes off in whole pieces. NOTE: Check drain outlet.

3. Adhere the films Remove protective sheet from film. Place film, emulsion side upwards, on a table. Dry the screen for at least 1 hour, longer depending upon overall thickness

4. Compass with... 5. Adaptor to hold Fotec Swivel Knife 6. Double cutter 0.01-0.08” 7. Tripod for Double Cutter

1. Cutting Cut always on a flat, hard support; watch for good working and light conditions. Protect film emulsion against perspiration. A sharp knife must be used for cutting (try the ideal FOTEC Swivel knife). Cut completely through the film and not into the support. Overcuts close themselves.

2. Examples Overlay film-negative with FOTECMASK red, using a punch register system. Cut the desired outline with the FOTEC Swivel Knife and peel the emulsion. Contacting the mask results in a perfectly fitting positive mask.

3. Negative mounting Overlay the layout with FOTECMASK red or orange, emulsion side down. Mount film parts on it. Turn, cut and peel the emulsion where desired. At the same time you can cut logos, frames, tint windows, etc.

4. forms Using the Double Cutter (0.2-2.0mm) together with the tripod, perfect borders and forms can be cut directly into FOTECMASK. Either negative or positive work is possible.

5. Artwork preparation, air-brush masks Using the cutting technique you can work over a rough sketch. Perfect edge sharpness and solids are the result. Precise air-brush masks are cut with the FOTEC precision cutting tool set.

Use plastic containers only to mix and store the solution. Remove ink after printing with a spatula. Apply the CLEANMiX solution on both sides of the still wet or dry screen. Let stand for a few minutes. Use high pressure water gun to remove the remaining ink, to decoat and degrease the mesh in ONE STEP. Always spray from bottom to top ! Follow the local regulations. Ink particles, stencil residues and organic solvents can mix with the sewage water and should only be disposed of, if cleaned afterwards internally or locally.
