Date for your diary: Saturday 7th April at 11.30am at ALSAA
LONG TERM ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT (LTAD) SEMINAR Aer Lingus Swim Club is organising a Swim Ireland CPD seminar on Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) specifically created for parents which will take place in ALSAA on Saturday 7th April at 11.30 am. This is an informative presentation lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. It will focus on how swimmers develop and how parents can nurture that development. It is the first of its kind to be run in a club environment as part of a pilot project to create a better understanding between parents, coaches and swimmers alike which sees our club once again lead the way for others to follow. This seminar is open to all Aer Lingus SC parents but is mainly directed at parents of swimmers in the B group and Age Group/Development squads. Each participant will receive a Swim Ireland LTAD booklet and eventually a Swim Ireland certificate of attendance (earning 1 CPD point). The cost of the seminar will be 8 euro (TBC). It’s important we know as soon as possible how many people are interested in this LTAD seminar, so please write your name on the form attached to the club notice board.
