Aircraft for display at Aero India 2019 Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) LUH is designed and developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) as a replacement for Cheetah & Chetak helicopters which are being operated by Indian Armed forces. LUH is a new generation helicopter in the 3-Ton class incorporating the state of the art technology features like Glass cockpit with Multi-Function Displays (MFD) and powered by single Turbo Shaft engine with sufficient power margin to cater to demanding high altitude missions. The helicopter will be capable of flying at 220 Kmph; service ceiling of 6.5 Km and a range of 350 Km with 500 kg payload. Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH MK-IV) Advanced Light Helicopter (Rudra) is an attack helicopter manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), for the Indian Army. It is the Weapon System Integrated (WSI) Mk-IV variant of the Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH). Rudra is the first armed helicopter being produced indigenously in India. Rudra can be deployed in wide range of missions, including reconnaissance, troop transport, anti-tank warfare and close air support. DRDO- ADA LCA MKI Tejas-Indian Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), is the smallest and lightest Multi-Role Supersonic Fighter Aircraft of its class. This single engine, Compound-Delta-Wing, Tailless Aircraft is designed

and developed by Aeronautical Development Agency with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited as the principal partner along with DRDO, CSIR, BEL, DGAQA and IAF to meet diverse needs of the Indian Air Force (IAF). Light Combat Aircraft (LCA NAVY MKI) It is the naval version of LCA Tejas developed by ADA for Indian Navy. The Success of Tejas programme for IAF drew the confidence of Indian Navy entrusting ADA with the Design and Development of Naval Version of LCA for operation from Aircraft Carriers. Aerodynamic enhancements to improve low speed performance for Carrier operation, addtition of Arrestor Hook for deck recovery, need for a stronger Undercarriage and Cockpit redesign for naval operations have made the LCA Navy development programme an immense challenge. GENJET GLJ-3X1- The Light Business Jet Developed by Genser Aerospace & IT Pvt. Ltd., GENJET GLJ-3X1, is an Indian initiative of development of a ‘2+7 seat Light Business Jet’; having twin turbofan engines with cruise speed of 840 kmph and a range of 4100 km; to travel across India, within SAARC countries and similar range elsewhere in the world. Indian Air Force MIG-27 UPG The upgraded MiG-27 aircraft is equipped with Inertial Navigation and Global Positioning System (INGPS) providing accurate navigation. Advanced avionics on the aircraft has been interfaced on MIL-STD1553B Dual Redundant Bus. It has a pilot friendly cockpit with stateof-art multi-function display and head up display (HUD). The pilot flies “Head Up” with all the necessary navigation and attack guidance symbology presented on the HUD and superimposed on the outside world-view. The integrated flight and weapon control system of the upgraded aircraft enables hands free (auto pilot) route flying and auto-weapon deliver.

Indian Air Force MIG-21 BISON It is one of the most used fighter aircraft in aviation history. The IAF purchased its first MiG-21 from erstwhile Soviet Union in 1961, under an agreement which gave India full transfer of technology and the rights to build the aircraft in India. It became the first supersonic fighter operated by the IAF. IAF MiG-21s were upgraded, and the variant was called the MiG-21 Bison. It can flay at a top speed of 1.8 mach, close to 2200 km per hour. Estimates of the range of different variants of the MiG-21 over the decades have ranged from 650 km to 1250 km. Indian Air Force LCA It is weaponised version of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas for the Indian Air Force . The home-grown aircraft is equipped with a quadruplex digital fly-by-wire flight control system to ease handling by the pilot. Due to its small size and the extensive usage of carbon composits, its radar cross section is very less compared to other aircrafts like MiG-29, F-16. Tejas also has open architecture software for avionics, which can be updated by DRDO as and when required. Indian Air Force MIG-29 UPG The MiG-29 is one of the IAF’s premier Air Defense fighters. MiG29 following the upgrade has gained in strength and ferocity after an upgrade, giving the force which is battling a shortage of fighter aircraft a much-needed boost. The Russian origin aircraft, now capable of effecting mid-air refuelling, is compatible with latest missiles and can launch multidimensional attacks. The upgraded MiG-29 aircraft can take off within five minutes of spotting a hostile jet trying to

enter the Indian airspace and destroy it. The upgraded MiG-29 has all latest features, including a glass cockpit having digital screens. Indian Air Force JAGUAR The Jaguar is IAF’s ground attack deep penetration fighter aircraft. aguar is a twin-engine, ground attack aircraft designed and developed jointly by Breguet of France (now part of Dassault) and the UK-based British Aircraft Corporation (BAC). Indian Air Force MIRAGE-2000 I/TI The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French multirole, single-engine fourthgeneration jet fighter manufactured by Dassault Aviation. The ‘new’ Mirage 2000, redesignated the Mirage 2000 I, is almost incomparable with the original jet courtesy a host of new systems onboard. At the heart of the upgrade is a new Thales RDY 2 radar, which allows for very longrange engagement of targets in the air, automatic tracking of targets, mapping of targets on the ground using Doppler beam-sharpening techniques, and the ability to track and engage targets which are moving on the ground. Indian Air Force Su-30 MKI The Sukhoi Su-30 MKI, considered Asia’s top fighter jet, is variant designed specifically for the IAF’s requirements. The Su-30 MKI is a modern multi-role, air superiority fighter aircraft of Indian Air Force. The aircraft is capable of decimating adversaries in air or on ground with the wide array of air to air & air to ground weapons. The

Indian variant of the Su-30 is a twin-engine supersonic multirole fighter that can be used both for air-to-ground assaults and to maintain air superiority. Indian Air Force MI-17 V5 Mi-17V-5 (domestic designation Mi-8MTV-5) is a military transport variant in the Mi-8/17 family of helicopters.
